We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel.
The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange.
All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The owners were very kind, welcoming, and paid attention to every detail. Everything was beautifully designed, modern, and spotlessly clean. The apartments were well-equipped and of high quality.
A big plus was the elevator, providing easy access to the upper floors, making the place fully accessible. The common room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing in the evening.
I only have two small remarks: the breakfast was quite overpriced, and the bathroom door was partially see-through, which was a bit unusual 😄.
Despite these minor things, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to everyone. A fantastic experience!

The hotel is great. Location is superb, quiet, out of the village and prime access to great hiking, not far from the lake. The room is phenomenal. Great size, great interior, warm, comfortable and stunning views. Staff are super friendly and the food is great, if not quite as good as in other hotels in the area. The spa offers good facilities for hotel guests only, so the size works. The steam room is about the only thing that is below par, it is small with awkward and uncomfortable seats. Overall the value for the prize is very good indeed.

It’s a fabulous and beautiful town right on the shores of Achensee. It is very family friendly with a great playground for kids and ski school. There are possibilities for so many activities in both winter and summer in the area. Can’t wait to go back.
