Lovely room with great views, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast. Good location for travel to Slovenia. Walk down to the lake was nice as was the cafe at the beach area. Dinner at local Gastehaus Trink, very pleasant. Hotel Pension Melcher is spotlessly clean and tidy. Thoroughly recommend.

Although the hotel is located near a main road, the rooms are very well soundproofed and it’s surprisingly quiet — perfect for a relaxing break during a longer journey. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent: a rich selection of fresh, high-quality products, with something for everyone. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the food — everything was tasty and well presented. The wait for food was a bit long, but it was a busy Friday during a holiday weekend, and the staff worked hard to keep things running smoothly. Their effort and kindness were much appreciated. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed. Free parking is available on site, and the hotel offers wellness facilities for those who want to unwind.
