Friendly host, earlier check-in possible. The room was clean and bright, with a nice view of the mountains. Parking is free of charge just across the street. In spite of the renovation of the hotel, the host did her best so that we felt there like at home. Thank you.

The number was not a number, but a room in the owner's house. Where the owners themselves and the dog were constantly walking and it was quite noisy, it was impossible to fall asleep. There was no trash can in the room, no soap to even wash your hands, no water. There was a request for a hot meal for two, for which we paid, they brought a sandwich (bread, a couple of pieces of sausage, half a radish and half a tomato) a glass of water. for two 🤦🏻♀️ the attitude of the owners during dinner was also unpleasant, when talking with relatives, he almost sat on our table where we ate. It was very dirty everywhere where there was food on the table, a cat was sleeping. A dirty dog was sleeping near the room. Our trip was long and we had to stop more than once, but we have never seen anything like this anywhere else. I wouldn't wish this place on anyone, it left an unpleasant impression, although in terms of the price and everything that was written, it was a completely different expectation.

Superb location at the foot of the Alps. This beautifully renovated Villa makes you feel like a noble in the 1700s. Owners are very welcoming and the room was pleasant. Also a great place to explore from, with forest trails, lakes and springs all around. Parking was freely available at the location. Food was also great. We will return for sure.

Nice small town, close to mountains so you can quickly go hiking or skiing or whatever you prefer. There is Aldo where you can buy food and a few restaurants. Not many of them were open during our stay though so we ended up buying pizza to go.

I was here for one night on 5th October.
I was here for one night on 5th October. The town was dead but I have no doubt this is a wonderful place to stay in the summer for a walking or cycling holiday. In the evening there was only one restaurant open,Gasthof Gruber which was excellent. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was closed but as the town represented the Marie Celeste this was not surprising.
Midweek in October is not a good time to come!

Our summer trip to Wurzeralm was amazing.
Our summer trip to Wurzeralm was amazing. We took the Wurzeralm cable car and then the Frauenkar so we could get quite easily to the Ramesch peak (2119 m) even with kids. The lifts were free of charge with the pyhrn-priel AktivCard that we got from our accommodation provider.

A lovely little apartment in the beautiful village of Spital am Pyhrn. A great base to go hiking and explore nature. We loved this apartment and the host was very nice and went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant one. I'd recommend this place to everyone and I hope to be back again in the future!
Visited this hotel summer 2023. Absolute great location on top of a hill with a terrific view on the mountains. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. A lot of space in the apartments. We could also do a later check-out. We would definitely recommend it.
The hotel is easy to find on the main road and has a big parking spot in front. The room was well equipped with a small kitchen, table and private bathroom. Abundant breakfast in the morning.
This was not the first time I stayed at this hotel. The hotel is managed professionally. I like the location. Spital am Pyhrrn is also a good base also for visiting the surrounding region.
