The style of the hotel is a bit old, but it's a comfortable stay
It was tiring to walk up to the hotel with my luggage on the date of check-in, good though they could arrange a shuttle to train station on the check-out date
The swimming pools and sauna area are large
Some staff look like a bit new and need more training

If you want to be far from the crowds in pastoral, beautiful village, surrounded by green meadows and mountains, in comfortable hotel, which worth much more than 3 stars - this is the place. The hosts are very nice, our room was superb, breakfast and dinner were very good. The spa area is small, but very nice.

Perched at above 1500m with spectacular views, this traditional guesthouse offers an authentic stay in the Tyrolean mountains. Straight out of a fairytale, the rooms take you back in time, the quiet is healing and the views make you plan your next hike. The owner was as kind and friendly and the breakfast was delicious (including the home-made pear juice and an Easter egg treat!). Our dog was allowed to stay with us too which was a big bonus for us. Absolutely loved our stay here and will come again!

I stayed for one night with my family and we were very pleased with our stay. The host was very responsive and welcoming, which made us feel very comfortable. The house was spotless and had everything we needed (you can make coffee or tea). The included parking was a plus for us as well. We went there to visit Aquadome so the location was good, a 10-15 min drive from the house. I would definitely stay here again.

We love this cute and cozy wooden hut. Located in a much quieter and beautiful village close to ski slopes and ski school. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and lovely Xmas decors everywhere. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Lounge is comfy and bright with one shared toilet too. The host Denis is super friendly and helpful. Offered us lots of tips for local area. We would love to come back here soon for a ski holiday with friends.
Offering mountain views, Lifesteil Aparthotel is set in Umhausen and offers a wellness area with a sauna and a hot tub.

The hotel is super modern, clean and nice. The apartments have fully equipped kitchens, bed is massive and super comfy, nice heating system keeps the rooms toasty. The breakfast was super delicious. The underground parking super convinient specially when weather outside is not so good and you need to load and unload the car. The staff was super friendly and professional. I did like a lot the toilet layout, it is something else and not your typical boring and lack-lustre style, top quality. I will repeat for sure when I come back to the region.
A nice, small, very well cared for village.
You can see that the locality pulls together to give a great public image of itself.
Used the Andreas Hofer restaurant. Very highly recommended, but beware, the portions are huge!!

It's a quiet rural village, not so busy as Solden or Oetz. Very quiet, but just between the main point of Interests. You may access them by bus or a car. The summer card is a good advantage, so do not miss it and buy in a tourist office.
It's a starting point to Stuibenfall

Visit the bakery at the city center, they do have a lot of local specialties. Also, beware that all grocery shops are closed on Sundays, so if you arrive on Sunday and you need to buy food, your best move would be to go to the gas station for some basics.

Umhausen was the perfect location in Oetztal Valley for us since we were using public transport. It is in the middle of the valley so getting to any location was pretty quick. It is also a bit quieter but with plenty of things to do right there.

New building in the middle of the Ötztal, so you can come quite good to the skiing an hiking areas, I would say. Also got a good price. The breakfast is really opulent and you can mix a lot of thing by yourself. All in all a good stay to explore the Ötztal!
The pool and spa area was great to have after a long day out and about. The apartment was fantastically equipped with everything you needed. The prices of food/ drinks were adequate. The decoration of the hotel was great
The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offers everything what a continental breakfast should offer. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely come again and can recommend the hotel.
A very friendly host. A large and comfortable apartment. Everything clean and tidy.
Wonderful view. Sun all day long. The hum of Austria's largest waterfall. You can watch the stars at night.
