Beautiful historic hotel in central Vienna, with dozens of cafes, restaurants, high-end shopping, and the incredible St. Stephensdom cathedral all within a 5 minute walk. The staff spoke fluent English, and they were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I plan to return the next time I visit Vienna.

Previously the center of the Hapsburg Empire, Vienna is the current center of Austria’s culture, economics, and politics. Visitors may think they are in a museum as they walk through the historic first district, but Vienna also has a youthful and dynamic side with lots to offer.
St Stephens Cathedral in the Inner-City is surrounded by the Ring Road, with grandiose buildings like City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, the State Opera House and the Burgtheater. Enjoy the city where amazing musicians like Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler once lived. If you're visiting during the carnival season, practice your waltzing skills at one of Viennas 200 glamorous annual balls.
Visitors can wander around beautiful park grounds in the Wiener Prater and Schonbrunn Palace provides imperial and extravagant grounds to stroll through. After exploring, eat with the locals by enjoying famous sandwiches at Trzesniewski, a Wiener Schnitzel at Cafe Central or taste traditional wines at the city’s many Viennese pubs.
Vienna International Airport is the doorway to the heart of Vienna. Booking.com has luxury hotels, charming bed & breakfasts and modern apartments to meet any accommodation needs for your stay in Austria’s capital.
One of the most beautiful cities I have ever been too.
One of the most beautiful cities I have ever been too. So much to see and so much history to learn about. I stayed for 4 days and could have stayed for much longer. Getting around the city is easy. I mostly walked, but public transportation is very user friendly. I enjoyed the performance of the Lippizaner horses at the Spanish Riding School. I visited St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Schönbrunn Palace, Hofsburg Palace, Belvedere Palace and Prater Amusement Park, the State Opera House, and Albertina Museum. I saw many beautiful buildings and sites just walking and riding the bus around the city. I went on a 2 hour river cruise on the Danube and that was the only thing that I don’t think I would do again. I wish I would have had time to see much more. I will definitely be returning to Vienna.

Not only has the city has retained its cultural charm from centuries past, but the people remain friendly and helpful, and the transport system is second to none. It is so easy to transfer from train to U-Bahn to tram using an inexpensive range of tickets to suit most needs. As there is so much to see and do, sufficient time should be allowed to take them all in.

Beautiful compact city.
Beautiful compact city. Major attractions within walking distance and if not, then very convenient public transport.
Signage in railway stations was abysmal, especially for the S-Bahn.
Street names difficult to spot very often.

It is city of art and history of 17-19 centuries.
It is city of art and history of 17-19 centuries. If you are not interested in ballets, paintings, opera, palaces, then there are nothing to do for you.
There are just dozens of theaters and operas, palaces and galleries, morocco and art-nouveau architecture. If you like something from this, you will probably love it.
From the bad side of view, everything is very expensive, very overcrowded (too many people, it is one of the busiest cities, I've been in recent years), dirty and noisy. Can't say at all that it is small, beauty european culture centre, considering how much was in it.

Vienna, an old city with a modern twist. A place for artists. Vienna, an old town with a modern feel. A place for artists. In the jazz club Porgy and Bes you can hear the world's best jazz names. Donauinselfest is also the place to be during the festival.

Nice accommodation near the underground and bus station. The access to the airport and city centre is very easy.
Near the hotel there are a supermarket and a big mall.
The room was clean with a nice design.
At the bathroom there were not any smell or troubles with water pressure or temperature.
At the first floor of the hotel you can find a nice space for breakfast, working, study or relaxing.
I totally recommend this place!
Enjoy your trip to Vienna! :)
