Located in North Queensland, Cairns is an energetic city with lush, tropic surroundings. It is home to one of Mother Nature’s most prized creations, the offshore Great Barrier Reef. I was fortunate to see the Annette Gero war quilts in the Cairns Gallery, also the Cairns Cathegral which has awesome stained glass. Our tours and tour guides were mostly awesome as well. I recommend Chris and his half day tours of Cairns and Ben our tour guide for the Daintree Rainforest. The one bed apartment was spacious, and only a couple of blocks walk into the heart of Cairns city, and all it has to offer.
