Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this lovely town. Food wine hospitality sightseeing and of course the boats lining the Murray River. I was able to walk everywhere. The Wharf and Steamboats were great to see. Interesting and very informative. Only issue was the Visitor Information Centre were not that helpful. Love Echuca, something for everyone.
Love Echuca, something for everyone. It captivated all the Aussie traditions and activities of our Australian heritage. Paddle steamers, horse and carriage rides, well preserved Australia of the bygone era ! Old buildings, beautiful restaurants and pubs, live music and friendly people. The restaurants were good. The Murray is beautiful. And catching up with friends was great. This was our second time there but it's not really a great place for young kids unless you are in the caravan park with pool and play areas. But find the cabins at the park expensive.
