Hosts Nicole and Michael were extremely welcoming and made our stay very comfortable from the moment we arrived. Beautiful peaceful location. Very clean with everything we needed for our stay, with fresh fire wood and kindling every day. The bed was extremely comfortable with a beautiful view of the forest canopy. This trip was for our 25 year Wedding Anniversary and Nicole was more than happy to find a Massage Therapist for us and even arrange for the booking for the therapist’s visit to the cottage. Amazing balcony view with some savoury or sweet breakfast options. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here because it was pet friendly. The cabin was clean, comfortable with a nice gas fire.It was well set out and no carpet which was suitable for our little dog. Plenty of room inside. Friendly staff. Nice surrounds.

Mapleton is a small country town on the top of a ridgeline with that side having views over Mount Coolum and Marcoola to the ocean in the distance. There are numerous hikes/walks in the area including access to the Sunshine Coast Great Walk. If you visit I would highly recommend having a lunch at the Mapleton Hotel, it was an absolute surprise, the food and service was sensational. The more touristy town of Montville is a short drive away. The town also has several coffee shops, an IGA and service station.

Mapleton is a quiet area close to natural beauty. Not too far to travel for a light meal. Fish and chips great, meals at Mapleton Tavern. Coastal and country views. Good location for a base. Not too far to drive to Flaxton, Montville and onto Maleny.

Mapleton is one of a string of small villages along the Blackall Range ridge with access to lots of rainforest walks, long and short, lakes, cafes, shops, galleries and restaurants. The Mapleton Tavern had good food and was open on a Monday night when many other venues were closed. Mapleton is much smaller and quieter than its neighbours Maleny and Montville and a nice alternative with less passing tourist traffic.

Over several years both couples have visited Mapleton, Montville and Malaney and always included Eumundi Market on a Wednesday as part of each trip. Enough shopping for anyone, and for those with the O.B.E. (over bloody eighty) easily embraced, or ignored!

The Mapleton Tavern does amazing meals and has beautiful views to sit and have a drink or dinner, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice place to just unwind, walk around the wetland park and lots of nature and birds to see. Short drive to some lovely craft shops and cafes. Great place to just relax and unwind.

The Taman Sari Luxury Private Pavilion was fantastic for a three night relaxing stay.
The host Nicole was very welcoming and provided hot bakery items for breakfast each day. From cob loaf or croissants or muffins, this was a lovely addition to our stay. The luxury pavilion met all our expectations, was well equipped and comfortable, and only a couple of kilometres from the township of Mapleton. Would definitely stay again.
Beautiful little spot, the room was very large and had everything you could ask for. Very unique stay, the hosts made breakfast which was amazing so tasty. Very quiet very comfy, you wont regret staying here, very close to mapleton and the motorway.
Beautifully located just a short walk from the falls and a short drive to Mapleton and Montville. The cottage was spotlessly clean and felt wonderfully upmarket. The fireplace and bath made it extra special.
