Crowded, cold , with cold people, not enough empathy , smile or kindness , every one was busy , dont want to help you and give you one second more to help you , too much noise ,
I felt homesick and anxious, unsafe and sad, I cried a lot , during my medical assessment process in Sydney , never will come back there alone , unless I have to go , for an important activity.

A stunning city with something for everyone.
A stunning city with something for everyone. Suits any age, solo, families etc. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, definitely one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. So many activities and experiences readily available that the list is too long to mention. Exceptional dining and various types of properties to stay at. Highly recommended. Sydney and its surrounding areas is a true GEM in the world of travelling.

In a post stay charge to our bank account that said "...
In a post stay charge to our bank account that said "accommodation" at Great Southern Hotel Haymarket it was not clearly indicated that it was for a meal in the GSH Bar restaurant. Also the transaction was for a day when we were staying at the hotel, however, the charge to our credit card a/c was 1 day after our departure. This misunderstanding could have been avoided if it was clearly stated that it was from the Bar or that it was for food.
Isabella was excellent in her dealings with this issue, both over the phone and via email.

The Sydney harbour Hotel was beautiful, the location for all of the Vivid Festival activities was perfect with only 5 mins walk to Circular Key and 1 min to the markets, stalls and waterfront.
Would not recommend Captain Cook Cruises as it was overloaded and we could not really see anything.
Much better idea to walk around the foreshore and feel the atmosphere, see the lights and save your money to enjoy the markets and food stalls
This is exactly what we will be doing next time.

Great city, definitely use the Metro system to get around rather than hire a car.
People aren't very friendly and struggle to acknowledge when you say hello. City center is super busy but local activities have plenty going on.
Definitely visit the gardens and museums... All of them lol

I have lived in Sydney all of my life.
I have lived in Sydney all of my life. Worked in the CBD so know it well. It has the most beautiful harbour in the world. So many attractions and styles of restaurants. The Light Rail has made everything so accessible if you don't feel like walking.

The location is great for access to Rail, Metro and Light Rail... anywhere in Sydney CBD is easy to reach. China Town, Darling Harbour and CBD is an easy 5-10min walk. Hotel is modern with a great cafe for good coffee/meals and a Rooftop Bar. Breakfast options are great and tasty. Rooms are well appointed, and the mattress is comfortable and good quality.
Staff were very friendly. Loved the options of prepay late-checkout. Rooms have well stocked minibars. A lovely hotel for our weekend in the City.
Yehs Hotel Sydney CBD is located very centrally so it's an easy walk to many tourist spots like Darling Harbour, Chinatown, ThaiTown, shops, restaurants and theatres. Both Central Train Station and Town Hall Station are a five minute walk away. The hotel staff are very friendly and informative about the sights and current events of the vibrant city of Sydney.
The Horse and Jockey is great if you are going to Olympic Park for anything. There's a bus outside the door that goes there, Uber trips are cheap. It's really close to Homebush Station. The pub has a great food menu. The beds are new, as are the shared bathrooms. Good for the price when compared to Olympic Park hotels.
Ideal location in the center of Sydney. Modern and new feeling rooms for great value. As a Sydney local who has stayed in numerous hotels around Sydney CBD, this hotel has to be one of the best I've stayed in, for its price range. Super impressed and would recommend.
