The city itself and the surroundings are quite surprising. Especially since there are not too many tourists. Not all attractions have to be paid for. Suitable for a day or two. One night stay is enough to see the major sights and enjoy the atmosphere of the town where cultures clashed and melted eventually. Very welcoming town with great food. Some insights for travelers (not negative, just stating the facts so you can keep in mind): parking is difficult to find and the streets in the center are narrow; apartments in the center can be very loud, especially in summer, so if you prefer quiet area book outside of the center. Absolutely lovely.
Absolutely lovely. The river and its water falls, the old trees and the nice parks, the small streets and the nice terraces in the downtown made Jajce a dream destination. During the day or during the night, the old city is so welcoming and warm, peaceful and reach in sensations. It was so very relaxing to discover and to visit everything there (the catacombs, the castle) but more to walk on the narrow streets up the hill and down in the city.Guest review byMirelaRomania - Review score

A one-of-a-kind city that offers a lot of attractions (atrium museum, waterfalls, fortress, catacombs...). In local taverns you will find extremely friendly staff who offer excellent food at reasonable prices. You get many towels and they are soft & smell nice. You can wash your laundry, which I did two times during my stay, since I was on a long trip. You have everything you need and the owner is very kind and replies fast to messages. If I come to visit Jajce again, I will definitely go to apartment Lena again!
