We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sana. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the Old Town, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and quiet, ideal for both relaxation and sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. What really stood out was the staff: everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile or good advice. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Sarajevo!

Last week, I visited Sarajevo—and it was far more than I expected.
This city has a soul. From the charming Old Town streets to the echoes of history that still whisper through its museums and buildings, Sarajevo is where the past and present coexist beautifully. Every corner tells a story, and every turn leads to something unexpected—be it a centuries-old mosque, a lively café, or a quiet rose garden tucked away from the bustle.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the people. Warm, welcoming, and full of kindness—whether I was sipping Bosnian coffee, asking for directions, or simply walking through the markets, I was met with genuine smiles and open hearts.
I’ve traveled to many cities around the world, but Sarajevo left a mark. A city of resilience, beauty, and unmatched hospitality—I know I’ll return.

Hired great guides from MeetBosnia and Funky Tours.
Hired great guides from MeetBosnia and Funky Tours. Learned of the amazing history. The locale is scenic. Interesting small museums : recommened the National Museum, Genocide Museum, Tunnel of Hope and Sverdo House. The one problem in Sarajevo is the junk being sold in endless souvenir shops in the Old City.

So much to learn about the history of these beautiful people. We ate locally and the food was delicious. Getting around by foot and public transport was easy. Use the local taxi they are 7 Euro, the private taxi charged us 30 Euro to travel the same distance.

Sarajevo is one of those places you don’t just visit – you feel it.
The city has its own soul, rhythm, and an incredible energy – a fusion of history, culture, and the everyday beauty of life. At every step, you’re surrounded by scents, colors, and sounds that draw you into a story of their own.
What makes this experience even more special are the people – warm, genuine, friendly, yet always with grace and respect. You feel welcomed, but never overwhelmed.
The women are stunningly beautiful and effortlessly elegant, even when just going to the market. The men are authentic and striking in their own way. For someone like me, who values aesthetics and emotion above all when traveling, Sarajevo offered something I’ve never experienced anywhere else.
Leaving Sarajevo didn’t feel like the end of a trip – it felt more like waking up from a dream.

Lovely small city which was easy to walk around. Lots of interesting albeit sad history especially due to the war 30 years ago. Friendly people. Cheap to eat, drink and my accommodation was very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend Sarajevo for a short break .

The place was clean, everything you need is there, it makes you want to book more than one night, which I will do next time I’m in Sarajevo. Sabina is super, super nice, she recommended me many places to visit in Bosnia. And guys, the view both daytime and nightime… worth every fening. Thanks!
The location is perfect, you are literally on the promenade of the old town, the hotel is furnished in Bosnian style and provides the necessary warmth, I felt comfortable, friendly staff.

Everyone working at the hotel is super friendly. Breakfast is amazing. A proper Bosnian breakfast which was great to experience.
Hotel was on a quiet street and just 5 minutes work the centre.
