Interesting small museums : recommened the National Museum, Genocide Museum, Tunnel of Hope and Sverdo House. So much to learn about the history of these beautiful people. We ate locally and the food was delicious. Getting around by foot and public transport was easy. Sarajevo is one of those places you don’t just visit – you feel it. The city has its own soul, rhythm, and an incredible energy – a fusion of history, culture, and the everyday beauty of life. At every step, you’re surrounded by scents, colors, and sounds that draw you into a story of their own. What makes this experience even more special are the people – warm, genuine, friendly, yet always with grace and respect. You feel welcomed, but never overwhelmed. The women are stunningly beautiful and effortlessly elegant, even when just going to the market. The men are authentic and striking in their own way. For someone like me, who values aesthetics and emotion above all when traveling, Sarajevo offered something I’ve never experienced anywhere else. Lovely small city which was easy to walk around. Lots of interesting albeit sad history especially due to the war 30 years ago. Friendly people.
