Noisy. No fridge as stated. Twin beds. Booked double. Uncomfortable, extremely basic. If I was a student paying £60 I'd be annoyed.

An absolutely perfect venue, we arrived in motorbikes in 36 degree weather, we were baking, the staff couldn't of been more helpful, letting us park in a safe cool garage overnight. The location is so central, just a short walk to the Mennin Gate. Breakfast was amazing so much choice and everything spotless. The room was lovely, again spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back and we will definitely recommend this to our friends. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Ypres is a "must" visit for all.

Ypres is a "must" visit for all. War is too serious to be ignored, and Ypres has seen more than its fair share. The museums, sites and general area have been very ell improved and yet they are informative, calm and above all an essential part of our history - relevant to all ages and countries.

This is our second visit to the area, last time we were out of the walled town, but this was much better and more interesting. Weekends they have interesting markets. Great location to visit all the WW places of interest. It was very warm while we were there 30oC, in June. Loved the cobbled streets, the architecture and the friendly nature of people. Can't wait to return!

Ieper (Ypres) is an enchanting city, filled with history,...

Ieper (Ypres) is an enchanting city, filled with history, and citizens who remember that history. The Flanders Fields Museum is such a well-presented, well-researched experience, it was impossible for us to do justice to it in only one day. This was perhaps our biggest regret about our entire trip, but it gives us an excellent excuse to return. DO NOT MISS the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate. I was invited to perform as a musician, and it was one of the most memorable high points of a musical career of more than 60 years. We attended the ceremony as audience members the night before I participated, and just standing there watching, it was every bit as moving and emotional at it was participating the next evening. Tyne Cot British Cemetery is a few miles from Ieper, and is another solemn memorial to those lost during the First World War. If you have ANY interest in history, especially of the First World War, Ieper is a vital stop, probably for as many days as you can manage. If you have NO interest in history, by the time you complete your visit to Ieper, you will have!

Beautiful quiet city with a relaxed atmosphere, no rowdiness. Good choice of restaurants and bars, an ideal base for visiting WW1 memorials etc. Menin gate ceremony at 20.00, get there for 19.15 for a prime viewing position. Tyne Cot Cemetary Vimy Ridge about an hour away (worth the travel) Sanctuary Wood museum particularly good. Plenty more ! Google is your friend.

The staff are very friendly, we were welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. The hotel design is sleek and modern and yet comfortable. Our room was large, the bed very comfy and the bathroom rain shower was a nice treat. We really enjoyed the outside patio next to the koy pond, the sound of the water was very relaxing. Great location just a few minutes walk to the market square.

Staff very helpful. Room comfortable. Lovely dinner on arrival. Breakfast very good with a lot of choice. Air conditioning in bedroom was very welcome on a very hot weekend. Very close and convenient to Ypres town centre. 5 minutes by car to one of a few free car parks (staff were very helpful with that) About a 20 minute walk to town centre from the hotel if you feel like doing that.

Fantastic bnb that you can explore Ypres from by foot! Close to the bus station and main centre of town. Owners are very friendly and The entire premises was clean and well maintained. The room felt like a hotel and was incredibly comfortable. The host also offered plenty of information on what to see and do in town and how to get around. The breakfast spread was fantastic!
