We had a wonderful stay at this charming Auberge. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Our room was spacious, making it a very comfortable and welcoming space. The Auberge itself is situated in a picturesque setting, adding to the overall charm.
We especially enjoyed the delightful breakfast, and the opportunity to try the freeze-dried fruits, which is a special treat of the Auberge. It was a unique experience!

The Refuge is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views across the St Lawrence. There’s a deck out front to relax and enjoy the views and listen to the rushing stream nearby. There’s also a fully enclosed BBQ area which is great in the evenings to avoid insect attacks. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery plus a decent range of cooking appliances. Jacques was lovely and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough run through of all the property’s features.

Amazing stay! So peaceful amongst the woods. More facilities than one would think possible in a very modern cabin in the trees.

Nice and quiet little village.
Nice and quiet little village. The only thing that gets me everytime is that basically all the restaurants are closed as of 9pm so don’t arrive there late if you haven’t eaten. Otherwise amazing cute little town.

Great in a lot of way!!!
Great in a lot of way!!! Like the nearby walks, the art galleries, was near a lot of attractions, everything was either a short walk of a short/moderate drive.
The only drawback is the food--the restaurants were extremely expensive and the food there was at best so so. On one evening I ended up with some serious indigestion. There are lots of nearby grocery stores, though, with lots of variety at pretty reasonable cost.

Thanks to Regis, an affable, generous and most entertaining host and charming Anne Marie for making our stay comfortable and smooth. And yes, the breakfast much like the room we stayed in is impeccable and well thought out.

Nice little gem in Charlevoix. Artist shops and boutiques. There are many coffee shops and restaurants so even if you do not have a booking you will find some other place to eat.
Next trip we will try the hiking trails

The interior was nicely decorated and the beds were super comfortable.
We booked there because we were traveling with a dog. The property was large and pleasant to walk with her.
The restaurant called 'The Gourmet' truly is. We were very impressed with the food.
The best surprise of all was a lovely spa in the hotel, with a very talented professional masseuse. I had a much-needed treatment I wasn't able to fit in at home.
My bedroom was wonderful, very comfortable, heated floors in the bathroom, comfortable bed, a big window and a great view. There is a farm at the back of the hotel, which is great, lavender and highland cows.
The room is renovated, the matress was confortable and the location was incredible. Also the restaurant attached to the Auberge was delicous, overall it was a five star experience.
