We went to a Brandon Wheat kings hockey game, it was excellent. Staff and people at the game were very friendly and helpful. Loved the blimp and the fan participation games. Hotel is okay.
Hotel is okay. A little rundown but the bed was surprisingly comfy and the room was quiet. Nicole at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with. There is a bar in the hotel but I couldn't hear it. I like that brandon has so much restaurants & food shops to choose from. Lots of establishments to visit whether shopping, groceries or landmarks. Very clean surroundings & getting around is so easy. Brandon is a small city with lots to offer.
Brandon is a small city with lots to offer. A walk along the Riverbank felt great and pleasant. Just an hour's away from Rinding Mountain, which is a must-see! Lovely little shops and the beautiful Clear Lake are awesome. Definitely recommend staying in Brandon if you like to drive, as the road can be beautiful. I would stay two nights if possible.
