I have driven past the Midland area many times in my life...
I have driven past the Midland area many times in my life but this was my first time visiting and it was well worth the stay. There was lots of lovely scenic areas to walk, and the food was fantastic. Being vegan my favourite restaurant was MegaMindful Living and the downtown had many interesting mom and pop stores. Next time I hope I can stay longer. I think it will be a beautiful place to return to in the fall when the leaves start to change colour.Guest review byColinCanada - Review score
Midland is a great and fun place to visit.
Midland is a great and fun place to visit. As part of our BFF Getaway in June 2023, we visited the Saint Anne Catholic Church, Discovery Harbour, King's Wharf Theatre, Wendat Park, Sainte Marie Among the Hurons, Martyr's Shrine, Midland Downtown Murals and Harbour, Little Lake Park, and the Victoria Harbour. Sorry, I rated wrong for your hotel Midland Inn and Suite, the bad comments were supposed to be for another hotel I stayed the following night. I would like to correct it. - Review scoreVery good · 97 reviewsThis house is really unique due to having most of the original fixtures, woodwork and other elements retained since it was built in the early 1900s (if I have remembered this correctly from what our hosts said). It is a true heritage site. Ross and Ginette were extremely nice and very experienced hosts. The breakfast was superb! Midland is a great location for access to other parts of the Georgian Bay National Park further north. We have stayed on two occasions with a full hotel each time and we had very comfortable stays both times. The beds are very great quality with lovely smooth sheets and decent thickness pillows.
