We love walking and exploring. Highlight the Botanical Gardens and the Garden next to the F1 track. Atwater Market is well worth a visit, especially at lunchtime. The people of Montreal were lovely and hospitable. We love this beautiful city and enjoyed good drinks and great service at Le Vieux Dublin on Rue Cathcart. I walked every where in Montreal and enjoyed the urban environment, the architecture and the neighborhoods. I would try different routes to experience different neighborhoods. The name: Courtyard Montreal Midtown is not only deceiving, it's downright false! I chose this hotel because I thought it was in "Midtown" Montreal - which it was not! The concierge couldn't even find it on the map of Montreal, which he gave me! One taxi ride to the hotel ran US$72.07 (without tip) which would have been US$25 had it been in Midtown!
