It is Central, easy to find, good Hotel for a shortrip due the Size. It's a clean, 16qm big room and has a comfortable bed. It's not worth 600, but it is Art Basel so understandable that the prices are through the roof. Shoutout to the ONLY 2 Friendly Person one being MIA who was 10/10, a lovely, friendly Lady and the young Guy who worked on the 19.6 in the Afternoon at the Bar sadly forgot the Name. Both acted top-notch and what you should expect if you are traveling. THANK YOU

At the meeting point of Switzerland, Germany and France, Basel is an eclectic mix of historic and modern, tranquil and vibrant. With Swiss cleanliness and efficiency thrown in for good measure.
Augusta Raurica on its outskirts houses a well-preserved Roman theatre, while the Old Town is a museum of medieval buildings. The Renaissance Town Hall looks down on Marktplatz’s daily market, while the red sandstone and colourful tiles of the Münster were reconstructed in the 19th century. Bringing it right up to date are the modern creations of city residents Herzog & De Meuron, designers of London’s Tate Modern.
When you’ve finished exploring this architectural heritage, there are still plenty of things to do in Basel. The city’s fine art museum is the world’s oldest art collection, and the zoo is the oldest and largest in Switzerland. Remember to bring plenty of Swiss francs for the shopping mile along Clarastrasse and Freiestrasse.
The Basel accommodation on Booking.com ranges from hotels in Grossbasel to B&Bs in Kleinbasel, home to the nightlife. If you’re flying into Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport in February or March you might just catch Fasnacht: Switzerland’s biggest carnival. You’ll have to get up early to see it start though - 4am!

Great lively city, it was summer so everyone was outside and there was a great buzz at the river where people were swimming and music was playing. Compared to Geneva this city is so much more vibrant!

The tram system in Basel is extensive and impressive.
The tram system in Basel is extensive and impressive. You can get anywhere in the city within minutes. Basel Old Town is beautiful and not to be missed; many buildings in continuous use date back to the 1300s. And look for the cute little ferry across the Rhine that uses the river current for its power; worth the 2₣ fare.

A great city with plenty to see and do all within walking distance. The Basel Pass, issued when checking in at the hotel, provides free travel on the excellent public transport system as well as discounts at many museums and attractions in the city and surrounding area. Basel's location on the borders with France and Germany means it is easy to visit the Alsace region and the Black Forest and the Swiss Alps and lake are easily reached by train or car.

Perfect for a 1-2 day visit. If you consider going, definitely consider staying in an accommodation within Basel itself, because you get a Basel card which gives you free public transport and half off on almost every interesting attraction in the city. My favorite was definitely the zoo.

The location is very close to Basel oldcity, there is great connection of tram and buses to the property.
The kitchen facilities are totally complete and everything you might need is there. This really helps to save money during your stay in Switzerland since you can cook and don't need to eat out all the time in expensive restaurants. There is also a ALDI supermarket close to the property.
Wifi was great and the apartment is very spacious. The self check-in is really easy and the host is friendly and helpful.
In my opinion, this hotel is very good value for money, especially in Switzerland. The room was spacious enough, bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was really diverse, with many good quality options, both sweet and savory.
The hotel was okay priced considering Switzerland is quite expensive to stay, it’s a short walk from station which we needed as was going to be travelling from trains. Basel city card always a plus. No major issues
Although pricey because it’s Switzerland, the breakfast was very good. Plenty of variety and the staff were exceptionally helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed.
