Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. Hotel situated very conveniently, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, train station. 10 minute drive away from sites and points of interest ( Gruyère, Cailler chocolate factory, most exquisite wine shops). Ample car parking. Pet friendly. We didn't have our dog with us this time but we will definitely bring him with us the next time we stay in this hotel. ❤️

Hotel is right in the centre of the small 'village' of Gruyeres - but see below!
Stunning view over surrounding landscape from rear dining terrace.
Helpful staff.
Directly linked via an underground hallway to the Gruyère Spa, Hotel Cailler offers you charming country-style rooms and fine cuisine.

The location was beautiful surrounded by mountains and breathtaking scenery. The hotel was really clean and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee machine was available at all times. The sitting room was great to grab a coffee and chill. The outside terraces were lovely.

Bulle has been a stopping off point for several years now - it's a wonderful small town with a very nice centre. There's a choice of several good hotels and there are plenty of restaurants. The local cheese fondue is a must!

Bulle is a lively small Swiss city close to the mountains of Fribourg. The city has a charming old center with a castle and there are several very nice bars and restaurants for drinks and dining. There are some fantastic Asian restaurants (Thai as well as Japanese) that offer delicious food and drinks. And, there are many opportunities for nearby hiking (e.g. around Lac de la Gruyère, or around the "Gastlosen" mountains starting from the Jaun village). Finally, there is the Cailler chocolate factory (in nearby Broc, 10 min by train), that is definitively worth a visit!

Nice little town to pop in if you are in the area anyway, not really a true destination. You can see everything there is to see in one evening.
Best fancy dinner we had at "The tonnellier" restaurant-definitely worth 5 stars!
Best burger we had at "Fry Burger Gourmet" fast food, near the train station.
Be aware though, that a 4 persons meal in Switzerland could easily cost as much as an airfare!

Bulle is a tiny city, it's pretty but unless you are going to visit the Gruyere Museum or Cailler chocolate museum there is not much to do. Stores close at 4pm on Saturday... and everything is closed on Sunday.

Lots to see and do for a little town.
Lots to see and do for a little town. The museum has very low lighting due to the need to preserve exhibits. But it is really good, lots to read, hear and look at about the social history of the region. In German,French&English. Lots of cafes and restaurants. A big market "square" in front of the castle. Excellent integrated transport system.

The hotel was situated in the center of Bulle. The parking space was very near and everything was accessible by foot. Going to Gruyere and the other touristic places around was very easy. The room was clean and comfortable . The staff were very polite and always willing to help. Breakfast was OK.
We also tried the food at the restaurant and it was really good. Highly recommended.
This hotel is brand new! (Aug 2022). so everything looks incredibly new, fresh and looks very stylish. There plays nice music in the hall way, but the room doors are so sounds proof that you can’t here that when in the room. The staff was super friendly and apologized for still starting up the hotel logistics with its little minor start up issues.
Check-in was easy due to the friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our room, it was big enough, cosy and clean, with a lovely view. Location perfectly suited our needs, we could park our car in hotel's parking and walk on foot within the town.
