Picturesque mountain village, some houses date from 1400’s.
Picturesque mountain village, some houses date from 1400’s. Spectacular hill walking, hiking. Good footpaths. Switzerland is expensive but this area is worth a visit. Beautiful views, peaceful place with charming houses.
Beautiful views, peaceful place with charming houses. We took long walks around Ernen and in neighboring towns. We used car service from Lake Como to Ernen and did the same from Ernen to Interlaken. We had the most friendly and helpful staff at our hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.Guest review byJefferyUnited States

- Review scoreFabulous · 208 reviewsWe walked up from Muehlebach, beautiful walk, mostly through forest. The view from the Hotel/Restaurant/Terrace is absolutely stunning. We were lucky and had perfect weather. We also enjoyed the free hour in the sauna in the wellness area. Needs to be booked. The afternoon tea as well as the dinner in the restaurant were excellent. The Janos fries are a highlight! The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with plenty of choice. The staff was friendly and helpful.Guest review byEvaSwitzerland

Everything was very clean, moreover the spa was a great plus, it wass fully equipped. The personal of the hotel is so kind and are very attentive. The breakfast was very varied and consisted of local products, it was delicious. Super bathroom with underfloor heating and walk in shower. Easy outside front door parking. Ernen is a peaceful old village, has a supermarket, restaurants and fabulous hill walking.
