Booking Com must start to accept its environmental responsibilities. Where this is an option try and persuade guests to travel by train. You will often make a point of saying "A visit to XXX is only 15 mins away by car" Fine - but if it is possible to use Public Transport to reach XXX say so. Make sure your maps show railways! Amazing swimming pool with several pools suitable for all ages and abilities, including an outdoor thermal bath with jacuzzis. The ice rink was up when we were there, lots of nearby cafes and pubs. Lovely riverside walks and great playpark/animal centre between Saanen and Gstaad. Many train and bus connections. Several gondolas up to mountain restaurants and views and walks. Well equipped kitchen , peaceful semi -rural location near base of one the ski lifts in Gstaad , friendly hosts , nice renovated bathrooms. Location is good for skiers and hikers being next to the Wasserngrat ski lift ( 3-4 intermediate /advance ski trails ) . We were attending a festival on the Eggli mountain and the apartment was right next to the lift up the mountain. I imagine this would also be a perfect location for a ski holiday. It was clean and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. It's a bit old school but well kept up and clean. The Hotel is a boutique family run operation with efficient staff , great breakfast, nice cosy guest lounge to get out your room and peaceful outside garden area .
