We especially liked the cozy and elegant atmosphere of the room. The location was also ideal since Zimmerei is in the centre of the old town of Murten. We also ran into the owner at one point who was really friendly.

This was one of our stops on a round trip through Europe. It's run with superb efficiency and our rooms had access to complimentary drinks. We ate at the hotel in the evening and although it was more than we would normally pay, the food was beautifully cooked and presented. I thought I was eating at a Michelin starred restaurant. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, which made the stay a delight. I'd stay again.

It was a clean, big room and a little kitchen. Bathroom was nice and bed linen was nice. Location was good and the bar/seating outside was nice. Staff was friendly.
