Great location near to East Gate of the yangjiajie park. There is a travel agency in the hotel managed by Mr Zhu. He was most helpful in arranging all the trips to the park for our four days in Zhangjiajie. A big word of thanks to him. Overall, an excellent stay in the hotel.

The host Steven was very warm and his English was excellent, making communication very smooth. We enjoyed free airport pick-up service, which made our travel very convenient and we didn't have to worry about being overcharged by taxi drivers. Moreover, he reserved the scenic area tickets for us in advance, at the same price as the window reservation. They explained all the scenic area routes to us in English and arranged a very suitable itinerary. At the end, they even gave us an English map of the scenic area as a gift. The coffee at their place was also very delicious, freshly ground. It was really enjoyable to have pure coffee while traveling. There was also a free laundry room, although it was self-service, it was still great. If my friends come to Zhangjiajie for a trip next time, I will definitely recommend their place and strongly recommend the service of the host Steven.

Clean, friendly and amazing location. They offered to pick and drop us from many places free of charge. Arranged special food for our dietary requirements. Even picked us up from the middle of the road at 23.30pm as a tree had fallen on the road so our car could not get past. I couldn't rate the stay any higher. Will certainly be back one day.

Beautiful modern and new hotel located 4 minutes away from the Zimugang ticket station entrance within the ZZJ National Park. Secluded and peaceful. Great service from the hotel owner - she will try her best to accommodate. They will have someone who can speak English reach out to you a few days before arrival to offer assistance in organising tickets to ZZJ National Park, Grand Canyon and Tianmen Mountain. This was particularly helpful and allowed us to avoid long cues at the ticket stations. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Free use of washing machines. The owner has a cute chubby cat and small white dog. The thing that stood out to us was that staff tried their best despite a lot of mishap.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff spoke little English but were very helpful when I used the translator app. My original room smelt like cigarette smoke and when i asked to change, they were very accommodating. There was also free use of laundry machines at the hotel.

    The receptionist was fantastic. Provided us with a map, and showed us where to go, even offered to drop us at the west gate entrance of the park at no charge. When we checked out, he organised cars to drop us off at our next hotel in the city of Zhangjiajie at a discount. Exceptional service.

    Stunning!

    Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

    Amazing place.

    Amazing place. My focus was in the nature and zhangjiajie definitely delivered. Everything went super smoothly, but couple didi drivers tried to scam more money by adding extra fees in the app. Luckily didi customer service was good and got it fixed. Besides that small thing everything else was 10/10 for me, i strongly recommend visiting.

    We arrived Monday evening, explored all day Tuesday, then left Wednesday morning. I would have loved more time but felt like we saw a lot in the time we had. Tuesday morning we went to Zhangjiajie National Forest through the east gate. We went straight to the Bailong elevator, hiked around, then took the bus to Yangjiajie and hiked around a little more. We then took multiple bus rides and took the cable car back to the east gate. A driver picked us up and took us to Zhangjiajie city where we bought tickets for Tianmen Shan, B route (one thing to note is that route B and C have you climb the 999 stairs up, route A has you go down the 999 stairs). It was all so beautiful! Wednesday morning we went to the south gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest and did a quick but gorgeous and peaceful hike, hoping to see monkeys, which we did. I loved our trip but would have loved two or three days to explore the area more extensively.

    Zhangjiajie was on my bucket list and I have ticked it off...

    Zhangjiajie was on my bucket list and I have ticked it off now. I was not disappointed with my trip there. The views was amazing and once in a life time for me. There was alot of walking not for the faint hearted.

    The national park is extremely beautiful.

    The national park is extremely beautiful. However, prepare for a large crowd. I came in early spring so it wasn't a high season yet, but I was already quite uncomfortable with the amount of people inside it. Whilst the scenery was fantastic, sometimes the amount of people distract you from nature. The most problematic are the large tour groups, but they always have a route to follow, and there are enough small nooks and crannies for smaller groups to find refuge. So don't bother to queue for photos in a crowded location - find somewhere quiet instead.

    If you have few days, focus on Tianmen mountain.

    If you have few days, focus on Tianmen mountain. Zhangjiajie park is great, but deserves more days. Watch out to the season, I came in winter and ice and snow paint everything with a special touch of beauty but every walk path resulted slower and some point could be close for your safety. Anyway, it's a must in a China trip!

    We liked everything in this hotel! The owner Chen, his brother Lee and Coco were all accommodating and really helpful! They assisted us in booking the tickets to the zhangjiajie park, Tianmen cave and glass bridge so we will not have any trouble. They made the tour so easy when they explained everything on detail.. zhangjiajie park is a 20min walk from their hotel, while the bus station to glass bridge is 10min walk. Room was also spacious and clean! Their hotel is highly recommended. Close to everything!

    Amazing views, nicely decorated rooms and delicious meals. We had a great one night stay at Mount View Cottage while visiting Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The family running the hotel was welcoming and with the use of the translator communication was no issue. They provided us with a map for the park, which was a life saver 😅 On our day of departure they also offered a free lift to the south entrance. Everything was great, highly recommended.

    It was located on a street with many food options and reflexology services, which you will need after a long day of walking. The owners were friendly and helpful and got the park tickets for us and arranged transport to the Grand Canyon and back. The property is walking distance to the National park’s east entrance. They also arranged for our luggage to be transferred to our hotel in Zhangjiajie town for a fee.

Hotel is just 3 mins drive to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. They will send us to the park. We had dinner at the hotel. Foods were delicious.
