A nice city to visit for 2-3 days, less touristic than Prague. There's not too much to see. Mind that especially during the winter is a bit empty of people and places close very early. My favourite restaurants were Moravskà (a bit expensive compared to the others) and Snyt Mikulda. Food is good, authentic and really cheap.Guest review byBenedettaItaly - Review score

Olomouc is a beautiful smaller city with a quiet, calm, university vibe. There is a great Museum of Modern Art and a Diocesan Museum with a large art collection and museum sections covering the development of the city from prehistory to today. Both Long Story Short and Coffee Library were great places for coffee or a meal. Almost everywhere of significance is walkable from the centre.Guest review byPatrickCzech Republic - Review score
We loved the town for its architecture and its energy.
We loved the town for its architecture and its energy. There is a park area surrounding much of it which is wonderful for walking. There is little English spoken, but help was fairly easy to find and the hotel map was great. We loved staying in the Old Town.Guest review byVicki KCanada
