Volary is a small town in the Bohemian Forest where the Moldau river begins. The town itself has no sightseeing quality, but the surroundings are beautiful. From Volary it is easy to get to the Lipno lake, to Cesky Krumlov and to another Renaissance gem: Prachatice. Room was not comfortable. Room was just above terrace where people were loud until well past midnight, keeping us from sleep. Property has detiorated substantially since pictures were taken. The central heating was workig, so if you have wet clothes, you can dry it. For a dinner you can buy good food in hotel restaurat. Of course beer too. There is a nice garden with lots of toys, swings, trampolines. Inside too there are lots of toys for children.
