The location from the airport was handy and the although I arrived much later than expected my room key was on reception. There was also a fridge with water to buy and a roll so that was good.

    It is a clean place, close to the airport only 10 mins by...

    It is a clean place, close to the airport only 10 mins by bus and 2 mins walk from the bus stop, very clear instructions from the staff how to get there. Having hot water jug is an absolute blessing so we had cup of tea or coffee. Staff should be more welcoming to their guests, I didn’t feel that. No shops or restaurants close by around the area.

    We spent the night to be close to the airport for our early flight the next morning. The little restaurant within walking distance of the hotel was great. I don't remember the name. They had a balcony that overlooked a soccer field, however there wasn't a game the evening we were there. The restaurant stays open late.

    We chose this hotel to be close to Munich and easily accessible to the airport, which it is via taxi or bus. Charming historic property that was once the village post office and guest house. Great value, free internet. Breakfast is available for an extra charge (we did not eat breakfast due to our travel plans).

    All in all, none too great.

    All in all, none too great. Our booking couldn't immediately be found and the receptionist's command of both German and English was poor. The first room offered had not been serviced - it suggested that the previous occupants had just left. On complaining, the second room was better, but the window couldn't be closed. I will not be using this chain again.

    Actually spent very little time in Oberding.

    Actually spent very little time in Oberding. Used it more as a base to explore the wider area, and in this respect it was great. Erding town was quite enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and being able to spend more time exploring.

    the few hours I spent there (overlay between 2 planes) was...

    the few hours I spent there (overlay between 2 planes) was too long as there is nothing to see or do. The village itself is very well kept, but there were no people to be seen anywhere. Like a ghost village. two restaurants appeared to be closed (they were open, but not inviting or wanting to invite guests). A brisk 30 minute walk allows you to make full circle around the hotel, sports terraine, into the village past the church back to the hotel and not a place one would linger about. A pity. Could be a nice retreat.

    Hotel is a short drive from the Munich airport, has a large parking lot. It is also 10 min drive to a beautoful location of Therme Erding opened until 11PM. HOtel has a a nice selection of drinks and home made sandwiches to take close to reception and pay the next day. Breakfast selection is amazing.

    Friendly staff, very helpful and open. Good rooms, more on the smaller size but warm and cozy. Close to Munich airport, 512 bus station 1 min from hotel and gets you to terminal 1, also easy access to terminal 2 from terminal 1.

    Location was good in the sense that it was 10 mins by bus to airport, from wheres8 and s1 train line was running regularly. The hotel is based in Oberding/Schwaig village. Room was good size.

    There was nothing to dislike! What do you want to compare it with? It doesn't match the Adlon in the centre of Berlin., but as a good hotel near Munich airport, it was great.
