Our stay included a local bank holiday and there seemed to be a lot of families with young children and babies staying at the hotel. Consequently, the pool ares and sauna were too overcrowded to use and there was a lot of noise in the leisure areas and dining room. The grounds to the hotel are expansive and beautifully maintained and we were pleased to find there is a short scenic walk to RUHPOLDING , an interesting town with a good compliment of shops and cafes. The rooms are cleaned every other day unless otherwise requested but they forgot to leave towels when they cleaned. The reception staff are polite but seemed indifferent. The breakfast was also nice and it's just minutes into the Bavarian Alps. The best part of the whole stay was the owner. He greeted us and conversed with us as we were neighbors.
