The breakfast was excellent. They had ginger shots and the traditional Danish dishes. The room was old style, we had a 3-foot chair for our desk, which I loved it. I felt like in a museum. Location was good, close to the main shopping streets and the castle.

Lovely beach location and interesting historic main building. A reasonable but interesting walk to Helsingør via the harbour and University Aquarium which is worth a visit, before the must-see Kronborg castle. There is a train station (request stop) very close by with frequent trains into Helsingor. Good en-suite units separate from the main building. Can be noisy mid week with school groups. Very good kitchen and dining area with everything you need to cook provided.

The location was great. We parked in the 24hr car park at the station which is just a short walk. Nice to be able to walk to castle, shops and restaurants. Loved the wonky floors!
