Soller is a lovely town, easy to access from the airport and also a great spot for visiting other local areas. There were a number of fantastic walks surrounding the town.
Great shops and restaurants with many places offering brilliant fixed price lunch menus.

Charming town nestled in Mallorcian foothills, centred on a bustling square with friendly (not too expensive) restaurants, a great shopping street and on walking (hiking distance) of port of Soller and equally charming little villages. The historic train /trams are great, if expensive. The normal bus back to Soller was easy to use, but very busy.

Gorgeous little town with truly colossal architecture!
Gorgeous little town with truly colossal architecture!
Adorable little tram that takes you down to Port Soller...
Beautifully surrounded by hills ideal for all the cyclists, climbers and hikers. You can get there by train from Palma. In fact, it used to be so remote, it was easier to trade all the amazing citrus fruit they grow there with France directly, than to transport to Palma...until they built the little train.

Soller is a hidden gem very near the east coast of Mallorca.
Soller is a hidden gem very near the east coast of Mallorca. Surrounded by mountains, this beautiful old town has a lot to offer visitors. Very good hotels and B&Bs, small individual shops, culture, art galleries, museums, cafes, and restaurants. There is a vintage train connection from Palma directly to the centre of Soller which is joyful to ride on.

SolleRooms is a lovely old Town house literally a minutes walk to the main square but still very quiet. Whilst there is no reception, communication from the owner was excellent on how to access the property. We stayed in Room 9 on the second floor which had a window onto the little street. It wasn't a huge room but it was lovely and clean with everything we needed. The bathroom had a sliding opaque glass door for privacy. The free WiFi was good. It's a perfect location for exploring with the train and tram a few minutes walk away.
A lovely stay. So relaxing and a beautiful location. The food was some of the best we had while in Mallorca. The staff were very friendly but definitely more of a family-run and casual feel as opposed to high end professional services so important to manage expectations. Would have loved the restaurant to be open at night. The massage I had was very bad - not professionally trained and didn’t seem to know what they were doing…definitely not the calibre you would expect for a hotel of this standard.
This hotel is exceptional, the building is absolutely beautiful. It has amazing high ornate ceilings, incredible decor and lighting. It is situated in the lovely town of Soller which is surrounded by mountains, yet it is only a couple of miles from Port de Soller on the coast. All the staff are absolutely charming and efficient, the feeling here is almost a private house party with great hosts. Breakfast is delicious and the presentation and quality is first class.
Gorgeous location right in the centre of Soller town - the pool and dining area is so calm and the water is lovely. Outdoor shower and lovely lemon tree - better than the pictures. The rooms are spacious and have lovely views. Cute tram down to the port and easy drive to lots of beaches / palma
