United KingdomThe apartment is very comfortable & roomy. There was good internet and could access digital TV channels. Plenty of crockery & cutlery, kettle, toaster & coffee machine. There’s an excellent shower & good to have a separate loo! Everything was really clean & tidy. The bed is firm but comfortable & there’s a good sized wardrobe for all clothes & storage.

New ZealandGreat little apartment. Comfy beds, good shower and clean. Very good value for money. We missed the bit on the booking to bring our own sheets but our host was really lovely, it was easy to contact her and she helped us out by dropping some off. Thank you!

Morillon 1100 is a great place to ski.
Morillon 1100 is a great place to ski. The lifts take you straight to the top of the Grand Massif. This year snow was scarce in 1100 but we have skied through in previous years and it has been snow-sure. Plenty to do for intermediates on short breaks.Guest review byMelanieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great family station (Morillon Les Esserts) very safe for young kids as there are no cars. Great people and slope staff. The village at the bottom is quite nice too, with few stores. The slopes are good and the domain is quite large with access to Samoens, Flaine, Sixth, and Les Carroz. The only downside is the Sherpa is closed in Les Esserts, but they managed to open a temporary small shop with all that is needed, and it's well furnished with food, things for the apartments, baby stuff etc.Guest review bySandrineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

An amazing family oriented resort - so many activities for children both young & older around the lake and loads of bike runs for all abilities. Good access to trains in Cluses, 15mins by car. We love Morrillon, but it seems to have become less popular...
We love Morrillon, but it seems to have become less popular and a little run down. There were no places open for food in the evening at all, which was very disappointing, Really just the pub open, but even then, very few drinkers - and this is mid season. The whole place felt completely dead after 5pm. However, they had done a very good job in keeping the slopes open as there was no naturl snow below 1500m It is still good skiing. Morillon and the surrounding villages are beautiful and peaceful places to visit for being in nature and enjoying fresh mountain air. I would not recommend trying to eat out or have a drink in one of the restaurants, as it can be a frustrating experience. They seem to have only a few open, and most were already full at 7:30, or were closed mid-week when we were there. Even ordering a pizza for takeaway was nearly impossible, as it had an hour long ETA. Best bet is to book a self-catering place to stay so you can cook a hot meal for yourselves. I sent a complaint to Residence Odaly in Paris about our experience with their safety procedures (concerning a water leakage during the night). But I still haven’t heard from them. I find their safety procedures very critical and I will never recommend this accommodation to anyone before I have been reassured about their new safety procedures. One review said the heating did not work? you only needed to press the + or - buttons on the heaters to get it working. all appliance worked well and you could see all dials easily. The cleaners all work well just by pressing the power button on machine. Remote worked, my granddaughter used it OK.
