Hey Paris is gorgeous, I think rushing around to see all the sites in a couple of days is bonkers! Don't read all the where to eat & what you must do. Choose the couple of things your really interested in, do them then just walk and experience Paris.
Walking groups are great you get local information & knowledge that's invaluable.
There are so many beautiful places in France, that are much cheaper so look into them if you find Paris is too expensive.

It is only for one time thing.
It is only for one time thing. Not a great place for vacations. The city is very crowded traffic is unbearable. You have to wait for almost everything which makes vacations very frustrating. City very expensive overall for mediocre services and food. Do not make the mistake taking a taxi prefer public transport much faster and cheaper,

We had been to Paris many years ago, but this felt new again. We enjoyed some new things, such Museum d'Orsay, but enjoyed revisiting some favorites - Versailles and Notre Dame. But, the chance to wander through parks and streets, without a specific destination, was a delight.

My parents are 80 and 85, Travelled with them, carry bags etc. Have the time when you are young to cherish these times, before people start getting sick or two busy in life to do it. They raised you, you owe it to them to go there, or Italy and Greece, A good number of days, dont rush them and just see everything. 12 days is perfect in travel with seniors. Go to repeat establishments as you can, you get better service than hopping. Get in touch with me, I have a lot of tips.

It was dirty. Don't think I would go back.
It was dirty. Don't think I would go back. It would be nice in one area and just a mess in another. Some scary areas around the Train station. We were also evacuated from out train because someone jumped on top of our ELECTRIC train. we were delayed for two hours and had to use another train/track because ours was shut down. Some areas were impossible to get in and out of unless on foot. I loved the outdoor Cafe's but the smoking everywhere was nasty. I did like being able to use UBER there. We also had a cool market right outside our hotel the day we left; which made for great shopping.

We absolutely loved our trip to Paris.
We absolutely loved our trip to Paris. The sites, architecture, food, culture and people all exceeded expectations. The main attractions do get very crowded, but that's just the way it is and you need to be adaptable. There can be unexpected closures of sites and interruptions in the transportation system, but there is so much to see and do that even if your plans have to change it's easy to find an alternate solution. Relax and enjoy your time. Sit in a park with a picnic or find a cafe to have a bite to eat and a coffee of cocktail. There are often pop up street flea markets which can be really fun to browse. Check websites of the places you want to see and reserve times to visit. This can save you time waiting in lines. Check dates and time that sites will be open as many have days they are closed weekly and for holidays. Check out some of the less popular museums and historical sites, many of these are free and have less crowds, but just as spectacular. Public transportation is easy to use and very convenient to get around. It takes just a couple times of using it to get the hang of it and there are attendants to help you should you need it. The food is amazing pretty much anywhere you go. Eight days was not enough to do everything, so plan at least 10 days or just plan to come back again!!

For this price level, the hotel is absolutely great.
If you are looking for one of the cheapest hotels in this area and have 5-star expectations, then maybe it is better not to travel to Paris at all—or go to Le Ritz.
I had a wonderful room in the attic, with a very Parisian vibe.
The room was clean, the bed was big, and the bathroom was renovated—small but functional.
The neighborhood is great.
It is far from being a 5-star hotel, but so is your budget, apparently...
Hotel was beautifully presented and in such a good location. Montmarte is definitely the place to stay in Paris. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were such good value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Really good bars, restaurants and cafes as soon as you walk out of the hotel. We managed to walk to most of the attractions but the metro is the best and cheapest way once you get sick of walking. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit to Paris!
This place is Massive.
We had booked the comfort double room. It comes with the minibar including snacks and coffee machine loaded everyday. Room was clean and spacious.
Rates were comparatively cheaper than all the other places around the area.
Location is superb. We used the public transport to move around Paris; thanks to the staff for guiding us throughout.
Best Tip: Book the room on the higher floor coz the hotel is on the main busy street.
Very good location , close resedence of Presendnt of France, very safe area. Location is in 10-15 minutes wolking to very center of Paris and 2 big shopping mall. Very nice owner of the hotel personally on receiption and breakfast serving and taking care of guest. Rooms are smal but very clean, nice decorated , with big screan and good cosmetics inside. In terms price quality very very right place
Beautiful rooms, convenient delicious breakfast. They also provided us with the best macarons in France! The staff was helpful in getting a taxi to the airport on our departure date, and stored our bags on the check in date while we explored Paris and our rooms got ready. The location is very close to several transit stops, so it was easy to get to/from the hotel after exploring.
