Our room was excellent - very spacious, with a great view of the golf course. The dinner and breakfast that we had in the restaurant were really good and excellent value for money. The parking facilities were also excellent.

The hotel buildings and the whole hotel ground is great. It looks like something out of a period movie. Rooms are nice and clean as well. There's lots to do in terms of entertainment and activities inside the hotel.

Was lovely. We had a room each and the hot shower after a rainy cold day was perfect. Coop right next door, which was very convenient

Fabulous location in a tiny village just outside Chipping Norton. Great base to explore the surrounding villages we visited Broughton on the water, beautiful and went to the bird park. Also Morton on the marsh, Stow on the wold and Blockley where Father Brown is filmed

It was very relaxing, i think it was definitely a great idea to choose this location for such a relaxing getaway, as the hotel grounds were massive, which definitely helped with escaping the city murmur. If only the jacuzzis were open for longer than 7!

This is a wonderful Cotswold market town, with a variety of shops, bars and cafes. It has some interesting architectural features worth visiting, e.g. The Alms Houses and St.Mary's Church. It would be ideal for a romantic break. It's location is handy for day trips to explore the nearby towns of Moreton in the Marsh, Stow on the Wold etc. The Crown & Cushion is a good place to stay and it has a nice bar. The Chequers, Blue Boar and The Fox are all worth a visit too!

Quaint, picturesque town, good selection of shops and places to get food and drink. Great location if you want to visit Diddly Squat farm shop as it is only 5 minutes up the road. Blue Boar pub friendly and central location. Was also easy to get to other parts of the Cotswolds from there

A cute little country town with a few shops and pubs, and good access to other parts of the Cotswolds. There's a fantastic playground in Chipping Norton which I would highly recommend, and a free car park with ample spaces and toilets (20p to use)

A fantastic pub run by wonderful staff who couldn’t do enough for us . Atmosphere throughout the entire pub is brilliant , it was like you were staying with friends . Excellent breakfast and had a fantastic meal on our final night , pub food at its very best ! Rooms are perfect , we stayed in the annex adjoining the hotel .Tea and coffee facilities even included complimentary Hook Norton beer and bottles of water . Parking is in carpark right alongside .Highly recommended and would definitely stay again .

We booked a last minute booking and got the hotel for a silly cheap price thinking it was going to be average, but wow it was lovely. We had a top floor room and was absolutely faultless, very clean, huge bed and plenty of parking. We didn't want to leave! We have stayed in 10 hotels the last month and this is by far the best.

Great location for visiting Chipping Norton. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The room had plenty of character with very high ceilings and wooden beams. There was tea and coffee making facilities with plenty provided, including an abundance of milk cartons - not the normal 4 that you get left in most hotels
