The Royal Hotel is in a great location by the harbour and across the road from the bus station. As Campbeltown isn't very big, you also find yourself close to all the shops and attractions, too. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast, served in the Harbourview Grille, was good. Incorporated in the hotel is the Black Sheep pub, which also serves food and has an outside seating area where you can look out over the harbour. My room, 26, was extremely spacious with an equally big ensuite bathroom. From the room, you get great views over the harbour, the palm tree lined Hall Street and the Campbeltown Cross.

Very spacious detached Farmhouse in a very secluded position with amazing views. We had dry, sunny weather and were able to see the Northern Irish coast! Very well equipped kitchen and utility room so home from home for catering and domestic chores. Full SKY TV available including Sports and Movies which was a huge bonus. Quick trip, despite the seclusion to Campeltown where there is a Tesco and a Co-op supermarket amongst other shops and places of interest like the distilleries.

Attention to detail was exceptional. Far better than a 5 star hotel but with a personal approach. From being greeted with a warm welcome to beautiful breakfast. I have dietary requirements, which not only did they cater to extensively but small homemade GF cakes were just beautiful and food knowledge. Stunningly decorated home and gardens. There is nothing they haven't thought of. Exceptionally comfortable bed, things like having a choice of pillow types (from down to regular) made it even better. Many additional features to make your stay extra special. Will return to Campeltown specifically to stay here (and try out the roll top bath). Loved meeting their beautiful dog (normally lives is separate part of their home).

Location was ideal, right at the centre of the town with easy access to all amenities. Very clean with perfect decoration and everything that you need for a comfortable stay was to hand right down to there being milk in the fridge for the coffee.
