Omg I got to the hotel at 3 am with my 17 year's old daughter And on the bed there was small insects walking so I went downstairs to reception and told the man to have a look . And then he said he will give be another room which the guy came with me and seen the same thing in the second room It was very disturbing but couldn't leave because of the time

FAQs about hotels in Luton

A Bedfordshire Getaway

Set between 2 of England’s principal motorways – the M1 and A1(M) – Luton is best known as an arrival point of cheap flights to London. A low cost carrier hub, Luton Airport is home to the unmistakable orange headquarters of Easyjet.

Booking.com offers hotels within the airport grounds, as well as accommodation including guest houses in the town nearby, many of which offer free parking. However, this is not the only reason to visit.

Luton once had an important role in hat-making, an industry which has given its name to the Hat Factory performing arts venue. The town’s huge carnival is based in leafy Wardown Park, home of Luton Museum and Art Gallery.

Local crafts from yesteryear are displayed in the discovery centre at Stockwood Park. Also here is one of the golf courses surrounding the town, and just east is a spa and swimming pool at the Luton Hoo country house hotel. Another golf course borders the Dunstable Downs to the west, and a third is by Whipsnade Zoo, the largest in the UK.

Luton shopping options include The Mall (previously the Arndale Centre), and the nearby station offers direct trains to London St Pancras. Available restaurants cover everything from Indian to Caribbean and Malaysian.

I went for family. luton is in south bedfordshire. it is largest town and suffers a bit of a decline. Near London espesc by train, St Albans and some villages (home of John Bunyan) and Dunstable (priory Church with extensive history: henry 1, 2, 8th). Easy to get to from M1. Near whipsnade zoo and woburn, and will be near new Universal Studios when it is built

Luton is ran down and feels like a niglected town by government, I found my interactions with the people in the area. Shops hotel staff friendly and helpful, But I wouldn't leave my hotel in the evening the square has alot of your men and the smell of cannabis everywhere around the treats is worrying.

    Very Very Bad hotel.

Very Very Bad hotel. The room is horrible and the bed and mattrass were from the last century, Can you imagine sleeping on a roller skate of a bed. The bed was very unconformable to say the list and the bed was always on the move when you got on it as if that wasn't enough I was having to pick up the mattrass as it moved anytime you moves while on the bed

A typical British town with some nice pubs and restaurant ..

A typical British town with some nice pubs and restaurant .... not so much to visit but an excellent base for exploring London, considering the prices here are more accessible so to speak. On the Internet the town has a lot of bad reviews and some considering a not so friendly place. We stayed here 3 days, we walk also at late hours and is not so bad. I felt safe .... A tip ! - if you are planning to visit London ( Luton - St. Pancras International) buy the train tickets in advanced, it could be a more less expensive.

    Friendly airport staff.

Friendly airport staff. Taxis were hard to get at times had to wait 40 mins seems it was a busy period even though we were in the taxi office. Hard to get information about bus stops and buses even when we approached bus drivers. Nice friendly staff in dining areas and good toitet facilities close to railway station

We booked because it was cheaper than any other Luton places. Car parking was free and it's a 10 minute drive to the airport. 5 minute walk into Luton if you want something to eat or drink.
