A city buzzing with atmosphere and super friendly people. The choice of restaurants and eateries is truly amazing. Tram system cheap and very effective. Free bus in city centre is a real bonus. Just so much to do and see. Why go further south when you have a perfect place for a city break in Manchester.

With the sunny weather it had a great vibe with so much diversity. So many shops and food options with great music. The people are friendly. There is a homeless and drug problem but that’s goes on everywhere. The streets are scented with cannabis but hey that modern England now. So many talented people. I actually felt comfortable in the street after dark and was very impressed with Ancoats improvement.

My partner and I stayed here over night as we had tickets to attend a concert at the coop arena.
The room was clean and well kept. The view from the balcony overlooking the cricket field was an added bonus. Lovely to sit out with an afternoon drink. Staff where friendly and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice.
Would definitely stay here again.

If you are going for something specific, e.g. to visit friends or relatives or to see a sporting, music or arts event, then yes, fine, great.
However, I would not recommend a visit for a visit's sake, or as a pure tourist visit to the see the sights of Manchester.
I say this because in my opinion it is very much a mixed bag of a place, a lot of nice parts mixed in with a lot of scruffy parts, literally from one street to the other, one street to the next.
Sorry, Manchester, just my genuine feeling/perception.

My 4th stay, great location and facilities. room is very clean. great value for money. I have stayed at diff budget hotels in Manchester City and found this is the best, given the price range and the distance so close to city centre.
Staff were very helpful especially the new receptionist from Hong Kong (forgot to ask her name but she was at night shift on 11-12th) , she is so nice and attentive.
The location is perfect for Manchester city centre. It's literally minutes to the station and close to the Christmas Markets which was perfect!
The hotel interior is very welcoming, the room and bathroom was clean and nicely decorated and the staff were amazing. They accommodated my needs. Thanks!
The hotel is located in the city centre, its clean with nice rooms of good size. The staff is very helpfull and polite. This is our second stay here, and next time we will choose this hotel as our place to stay in Manchester. No need to look further.
The hotel was in an amazing location for the AO arena and Manchester City centre. The hotel was spotlessly clean we had a family room and it was spacious and had every thing we needed.
