United KingdomWe are seasoned travellers, and do not usually leave reviews, but I felt I must make an exception for Golden Sands.
We loved everything about this hotel, from the wonderful location to the helpful and friendly staff who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable.
All areas of the hotel were very clean and well tended and the rooms tastefully decorated. The popular and modern restaurant served delicious food and the cooked breakfasts were outstanding.
In fact, we loved it so much we have already booked a return trip in September!

United KingdomBreakfast was excellent, staff excellent. Location was excellent. Size of room was fantastic, and very well decorated, bed was very large and very comfortable. Room furniture was very nice. We had a side sea view which was lovely. Room had fan to cool the room as the weather was very hot & sunny. Evening food was lovely. Terrace above bar was very nice and had lovely view.
Bus stop was directly outside hotel, so easy to get about island. 15 minute walk into centre if St Helier

St.Brelades is a beautiful place.
St.Brelades is a beautiful place. The beaches are lovely, the views across the bay are stunning. The Church is well worth a visit, very pretty with a lot of history. There are plenty of places to purchase food, drinks and snacks and there are a couple of gift shops too. St Brelade’s is very pretty.
St Brelade’s is very pretty. There are some lovely restaurants. I would recommend The Beach Club/The Oyster Box and the Jersey Crab shack all in St Brelades. The Golden Sands Hotel does lovely lunches and dinners and you don’t have to be staying there to dine. All of these restaurants have views across the bay. I would recommend you hire a small car to travel around the island, there are buses (see timetable for details). The bay overlooked a stunningly beautiful expansive sandy beach with breathtaking views. A lovely walk takes you right around the bay and passes a number of good cafes and retaurants en route. Excellent sandy beach which regularly cleaned with great water sport amenities on it, for a charge of course. We visited various Hotels for dinner, all of which were very good. This is a great place to stay for a relaxing break. Jersey is very small and everything is in easy reach but it is nice to come back to St Brelade's in the evening to just chill. Do try the Oyster Box over the road if you like shell fish.Guest review byTessaUnited Kingdom
