It's a nice resort with reasonably priced shops and cafes. It's good for beginners at skiing. However dog owners must be careful, a lot of strays walk in groups. Bakuriani in late December is a great place for skiing.
Bakuriani in late December is a great place for skiing. The snow-capped mountains and landscape is amazing. There was at least 60-70 cm of snow at the end of December. It becomes thicker later in January and February. I stayed in Bakuriani for 2 nights. On the first day, I went skiing and snowmobiling at the 25 Ski Park. On the second day, I went to Alpine Coaster in Didveli (Didveli Toboggan) and Borjomi. I suggest you stay in Bakuriani and use it as a base to do winter activities in various ski resorts and visit Borjomi. There is frequent connectivity between Bakuriani and Tbilisi by Marshrutkas.Guest review bySurajIreland
