Good choice of restaurants and supermarkets. People were friendly in both. I tried a couple of Greek ones which were good. As a solo traveler I was welcomed. It's a small place and easy to walk from one end to the other in a few minutes. I felt it needed some money spent eg on some very rocky pavements. The hotel is on a local bus route and they stop nearby but...
The hotel is on a local bus route and they stop nearby but the road is always and is very and dangerous owing to the fact there are no pavements or kerbs so you are basically walking in the road !! The town itself is quite busy with the marina and plenty of restaurants etc . Only takes about 5 or 6 minutes from the hotel on the bus, would not recommend the walk for anyone with with limited fitness/health issues. All was great. Location of apart.was nice, just 2 min.from the beach, 50m from the pool were u can relax, bed sheets were perfectly clean. Nicely equipped kitchen, spacious patio with privacy and flowers. Changing towels after 3 days. Appt. itself was very clean. Benitses is a bend in the road with at least a half dozen hotels and a dozen or more restaurants in the season. It has a free beach area along with those associated with hotels. The sea is mostly gentle; OK for children unless there has been a storm. There is bus service to Corfu Town but it is not simple to negotiate - hard to trust the timetables - but inexpensive; suggest catching a bus to return to Benitses by mid-afternoon to avoid a $50 taxi fare. We had some very excellent meals; grilled lamb excellent and many fish dishes that are fresh.Guest review byLynneUnited States - 6.0

Conveniently located for getting to Corfu town and from there to other places on the island. Boat tours leave from Benitses for the beautiful islands of Paxos and Antipaxos and other places. Beach is not great, but sea is fine. Plenty of good eating and drinking places.Guest review byBerylIsrael

The garden is beautifully kept and has stunning views from the dining terrace. Super comfy bed with gorgeous smelling linen. The apartment had a great kitchen stocked with lots of crockery, pots, pans and utensils. Friendly and helpful hosts, with fabulous attention to detail.
