Haraki is a small town with lots of tavernas, lovely for a quiet holiday away. The bay is like a horseshoe shape lined with tavernas. The backdrop is an ancient ruin acropolis and lit up at night, beautiful to see. The town is friendly and it felt many people return year after year. Charaki is a very slow-pace, peaceful & paradise-like beach...
Charaki is a very slow-pace, peaceful & paradise-like beach area. It takes some 50mins from airport to get to there by car. Public transport is not recommended cos the “nearest” bus stop is way to far especially when one has luggage on wheels (from own experience). Beach itself is priceless. Water is crystal clear cos of smooth pebble stones, also very calm as in a bay. Two supermarkets and a few restaurants available all within short walking distance. Book a taxi for some €20 and you are in next town Lindos where the Acropolis is. And for me personally, am so grateful there is no nightlife entertainment establishments there which is really quiet at night.Guest review byItIsBrenGermany - 10.0

I have been coming to Rhodes for over 10 years and always visit Haraki for day trips. This time I decided to stay for a week and loved everything. The sea was warm and inviting. Haraki is a charming, relaxing village and it was a perfect location for our holiday. The beach is beautiful and the people were lovely and friendly. We had some excellent Greek food in the local tavernas. It is not a place to go if you are looking for nightlife and thrills but ideal if you want to relax. It's easy to walk around and there are a couple of supermarkets where you can find everything you might need. We had the most wonderful time.
We had the most wonderful time. Our first visit to Rhodes Island. Our hosts Kostas and Diana are lovely people. They live on site so are always on hand. They could not do enough for us. Fresh oranges every day. Flowers from the garden. Fresh towels and sheets and villa cleaned mid stay. The local people are very friendly and the island is clean and safe. Some lovely beaches to visit and lots of local villages to explore. Highly recommend for couples and families alike. The accommodation is on the quieter side of the Charaki, the AC worked fine, and the room was exactly as shown in the pictures. The beds are pillows were comfortable enough.
