As it was my second time in Laganas, I knew that we will be spending most of our time on the beach or on boat trips, thus initially I chose Timos Hotel as it seemed close to the beaches and Cameo Island, nevertheless it exceeded my expectations, it’s not on the beach but it is extremely near, just a 3-4min walk. We were looking for a few quiet nights and I was worried that it was too close to the clubs, but it wasn’t a problem (it’s about a 10min walk to the clubs, but you cannot hear the noise from the room). It also has a very nice, clean swimming pool. The staff was very pleasant and a hint for Romanian travelers the owner speaks perfect Romanian. As it is difficult to get around on the island with public transport, we rented a car from the rental at the hotel, the price was OK and the car in perfect condition. We are planning on staying at this hotel every time.

    4 days are enough to see everything the island has to offer. 5 days can be also nice but not more. Definitely go for the boat trips to the shipwreck and the local blue caves, also the turtle island Marathonisis and the Keri caves. Highlights of the trip. Don't eat in Laganas, search for grill restaurants on the inside of the island... you won't regret. Don't look for the beautiful restaurants... go for the normal or even uglier ones, they will have the best food and also cheap.

    Laganas looks better at night than during the day, but has a very relaxed atmosphere and locals are very friendly. Suggest going at end of season if you aren’t into the party scene. Laganas beach has lovely clean sea and clean sand. Laganas has a great selection of restaurants and plenty of souvenir shops which aren’t all full of tat. Plenty of pharmacies and medical assistance is available if necessary. Do yourself a favour and hire scooters from George on the main strip and explore the island on them - the most unforgettable sense of freedom and fun!

    Laganas is definitely the place to meet people.

    Laganas is definitely the place to meet people. I went towards the end of season which suited me just fine as I still considered it busy. There's plenty of places to eat and drink. Police are always on the strip at night, and the place generally feels safe. In my opinion the better beach if further up in the next town but its in walking distance so that's fine I feel like there's something for everyone here. I like Latin American music so really enjoyed Cubaneros. I also liked Carpe Diem and Tasos for food. I didn't hire a vehicle but to get the most out of your trip hire a quad or something to really explore the place.

    The city is perfect for 1-3 days, mostly young people. The city is full with clubs and somehow is oriented on young people and parties. Also, is the first city or summer destination where you can walk in your swimsuit on the street.

    Was quite busy with quite a few party goers along the main road with lots of burger bars and clubs for those that want that and plenty of little supermarkets, pharmacy, souvenir shops, and activity rental places where you can book bus transfers to turtle tours, shipwreck tour, watersports beach (about 45 min bus ride away but we'll worth it, all the watersports you can think of), plus bus trips to water slide park. So very convenient and the beach front bars and restaurants are superb, fresh seafood, amazing cocktails, ovelooking the sea. Away from the main high street, really relaxed vibe and nice mix of tourists, friendly, safe and good for all ages.

    Great nightlife, not really a place for families, many Italians and English people, a lot of activities to do like water sports or excursions, beach is not great, not really space to just put your towel down, it’s full of beach clubs which rent sunbeds, surely need a car, quad bike or scooter to move to nicer beaches which are a bit further and too far by walk

    That was our second time staying at Villagio Verde. The only i can say that was great. Great hospitality, great service, all 24hour on air with the headmaster of the apartments. You can enter all the shops you need during walking to the beach or back. Central street just to Laganas beach, lots of caffees, restaurants and fast foods. If you don't want to walk there is a bus right to the beach. Clean, quiet, safe, pretty territory. Wish you great profit, guys. We'll be back👍👍👍

    We had a lovely stay at this hotel! For the money we payed we had the nicest surprise. The hotel has the perfect location, few min away from Cameo Island and Laganas Beach. Our daughter was really happy with the pool, clean and the water was perfect! The room was big enough, comfortable beds and amazing view. The staff was really helpful and always with a smile on their faces:) many thanks to Ana from the reception. We will come back for sure in the future!

    The room was nice and clean plus it had air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty and had many food and drink options. The location was perfect. The hotel was peaceful even though it was close to Laganas strip. Also the beach and grocery store were really close. The parking lot was next to the hotel and there was always space for our car. The staff were kind and helpful.
