Friendly staff. Showed us what area had to offer. Close to beach. Excellent pool area. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Close to airport. Provided airport shuttle at small cost. Organised a free shuttle into town for our dinner. Highly recommend

Very close to the airport, perfect for one night stay! We reached late, so couldn't enjoy the apartment much. But, it was well decorated with all the amenities possible with ample of sleeping area.

The owners were very nice. They arranged a taxi from the airport and even left a small breakfast for me in the apartment. It's just a few minutes from the airport.

    We needed an overnight stay near to the airport.

    We needed an overnight stay near to the airport. This was perfect, taxi arranged to and from the airport. Food, drinks, water, wine left out for us. A supermarket, bakery and restaurant nearby if you need to buy anything. Our host Joan is lovely, the perfect host, waved us off when we left. We loved our stay and will stay again if we need an overnight stay to catch an early flight.

    This place is one house back from the sea and 15 minutes from the airport. Great view of the sea and sunrise. As in all of Greece you have older home needing repair and other that have been well kept. A great place to stay for a few days. The fish restaurant that was recommended was the best in our two week stay. The apartment was like staying in a family members home. Everything you needed was provided. The older couple lived on the first floor and spoke almost no English. Their smiles and warm welcome was better than words. Their son rented and handle the apartment. I would definitely start there again.

    Not somewhere I'd choose to go for a holiday but was a bit different than going in to Athens for a short layover between international flights. Popular beach with Athenians for a day trip apparently.

    it is a nice place to visit if you have a car to get around...

    it is a nice place to visit if you have a car to get around as there is nothing really within half an hour walk. It is quiet a distance from the airport travel wise and in our experience it was difficult to find. We were on the second floor so there were quiet a few narrow stairs to carry our suitcases up. On a positive note, the accommodation was clean and tidy and comfortable if you are staying more than a few days. There is a lovely little beach about half hour walk that also has a lovely cafe on the beach front.

    The restaurant we went to represented good traditional greek food. The proximity to the airport is good, but, travellers need to be aware of unscrupulous taxi drivers who quote fixed fares rather than run a meter, and, claim their eftpos isnt working in order to get cash payment. Treatment by taxi drivers means I would never recommend going to Artemis to any tourist I know planning to go to Greece. The authorities need to clean up the industry from rorting tourists, not only in Artemis, but on the islands as well
