The location is great, its in a quieter part of the island next to a small square that has nice restaurants, vineyards and small shops and the otherside a short walk away is a beautiful sunset spot. If you stay here I would recommend renting a car as taxi's are really expensive and places are not very accessible by walking. The apartment is perfect for a long weekend stay, it's spacious and the air conditioning was a lifesaver!
The room was cleaned everyday and the apartment hosts are excellent, they can help you arrange anything you need and respond instantly. They organised our pick up from the airport, all of our trips and car rental you don't need to worry about anything.

First and foremost the view is spectacular!
We were visiting as a group of family and friends for our sons wedding. The venue was just a 3 mins walk from the Artemis which was awesome. We had booked 12 out of 14 rooms there so it had a private villa feel.
The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to help. Shoutout to all the staff by name, Polivia, Alexandros, Biona, Zabia,Dora & Stefanos.
Artemis is about a 10 minute walk from a picturesque little village Megalochori with lots of traditional little restaurants.

The accommodation was lovely and in an excellent location being right in the centre of Megalochori which is a beautiful little village in Santorini. The terrace was a great place for sunbathing and the hot-tub was great in the evenings when it became a little cooler (we were here at the beginning of May). The village has a few restaurants which are great and a lovely wine bar called Symposium. It's also only a short trip away from the capital Fira which takes approximately 10 minutes by bus.
Located in Megalokhori, 1.2 km from Thermis Beach, Soil of Sun Luxury Villas provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

The breakfast was exquisite and varied, with fresh bread, eggs, cheese, yogurt, honey, fruits, and coffee. The villa is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, has a small pool and located close to the bus stop. Our host, Magda, was very friendly and helpful. She was available to give the keys late in the night. She shared tips on where and how to go, arranged transfers and made our stay very comfortable. She really made us feel like friends and not guests.

One night was enough. Beautiful village but too many jewellery stores. More variety would be better
Tavernas looked great but we're overpriced with inadequate food of small sizes
Nice to walk around
Good views

You would definitely need a car here to be able to visit Oia and Fira easily. Also Kamari was actually our favourite place, had a lovely beach, shops and restaurants.
Megalokhori itself is very small village, it’s worth a little stroll down to. Also lovely homemade lemonade served in the little bar there.

Loved Megalochori: little beautiful village with its colorful houses, churches and little back alley streets. It was as if I was walking in a big painting or Theatre set. Met many friendly people; visited cozy restaurants and enjoyed tasty meals. Hope to visit many more times in future!

The property is absolutely immaculate!!
The property is absolutely immaculate!! Romantic & Relaxaing!!
Complimentary breakfast was excellent, too!!
Public Transportation not easily accessable - eventhough the bus stop is only a 3 minutes walk. The sidewalk isn't user friendly - very Narrow & lots of outgrown weeds. You can take a bus to Fira from that bus stop - just do it in the morning - at night that area isn't walkable - from Megalochori to Fira is only 1,60 euros. However, from Fira took Uber back to hotel is about 36 Euros! After you arrived Fira bus station, you can take another bus to Oia for another 1,60 euros.
We shouldn't have booked a split level room because there's a steep stairs to climb up to your bed :(

Megalochori is just a small village 5 kms south of the city centre Fira. It is less touristic and will suit people seeking for accommodation that is not so busy and hectic. It has some good restaurants and even a winery that sells fantastic red and rosè wine.

The village is very traditional and much less touristy than the other towns. There is a good selection of restaurants (7/8 maybe) and all of them are lovely, only 1 or 2 serve breakfast though. There are some lovely vineyards in the village too, some cooking classes and horse riding excursions. It's a small village so not huge amounts to do so more of a relaxing base from which to explore the Island. There was a small shop although the opening times were sporadic so we stocked up at the larger supermarkets just out of the village.
We hired a car to get around and there is free parking in the village, the island is very small so it only takes 40 minutes to get to the other side, I think the local busses call through too although we didn't use these.
We went with our 2-year-old who loved the local playground, although there were a lot of cobbles (as with all the villages) which made the buggy difficult.

Incredible view over the Caldera- perfect for admiring the famous Santorini sunset. Very nice property, both modern and traditional, with perfect facilities. Breakfast (served in the apartment) was very good- Greek and European on alternate days. Location closer to the beaches than to the touristic villages- we rented a car for moving around. Staff was always kind and ready to help with anything- a big Thank You for Andra and colleagues!

Absolutely stunning views and the biggest swimming pool you’ll find in Santorini!! Beautiful room with huge tub and delicious food at the restaurant. We moved to Fira later and the hotels there have much smaller pools and aren’t as nice. Although it’s a quiet area, taxis are cheap and can take you everywhere. Highly recommend this hotel!!
Lambros is an amazing host. He gave us many great tips, and he was always available to make sure that we were comfortable. Highly recommended! One of the best options you will find in Santorini!
