Nice hotel with the very friendly and helpful Julia in the reception. Located near the road crossing to Fira-Airport-Kamari, so a practical hub, for a room at lower cost than in Fira or Kamari, and still very near to everything. Offering trasfer to/from the Port, or take the bus to Fira and then bus to the port. Cafe to buy breakfast as neighbour. Many shops nearby. Nice rooms, but limited view.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hidden Hills and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Nestled in a serene and picturesque setting, this hotel villa offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty.
Location:
The hotel villa is located in a quiet, scenic area that feels like a private retreat, yet it’s conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. The views from the property—especially during sunrise and sunset—were absolutely stunning even more so from chilling in the private hot tub.
Accommodation:
Our room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the private terrace, which offered a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
Amenities:
The hotel villa features a beautiful hot tub, a well-maintained garden. The Wi-Fi was strong throughout the property, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—something I truly appreciated in the summer heat. Some villas even come with private pools, adding to the exclusivity.
Service:
The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful local tips provided throughout the stay, their hospitality really made a difference. We’d like to give a special thanks to the hotel manager Leyla who truly went above and beyond during our stay. From arranging taxis for us late at night to checking in on us early in the morning to ensure we were happy and had everything we needed—your care and attention made all the difference. Your dedication and hospitality did not go unnoticed.
Overall:
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful solo retreat, or even with a group of friends, Hidden Hills delivers on every front. I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning my return visit and I will be recommending it to everyone who goes to Santorini.

This place is amazing! Everything is great and very clean!
We love the suite with the own hot tub and have a great time. We do feel like if we have book our own private villa.
The size of the room is much bigger that what it looks in the pictures and it’s perfect for families. It’s spotless clean!
All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is very tasty and very complete. The pool area is also great, very well maintained and inviting for a swim.
It feels very private even if it’s a hotel.
Also, it’s right next to the airport but you can only hear the planes when they take off, it might be about 1 plane an hour. We found it amazing to be able to see the planes so so so close! Honestly don’t think this will annoy your stay as it doesn’t bothered us at all.
Location is great to explore the island. We have a car and we never drive more than 25’ to get to anywhere.
I honestly want to come back again :)
Villa Danezis features air-conditioned rooms along with free Wi-Fi and parking. Each room has a private balcony, some offering sunset views. It is 3 km away from Fira.

The Nous hotel was an amazing hotel base. Easy to travel to anywhere on the island by public bus which was a very cost effective and enjoyable way to explore all parts of the island. Mesaria is 5-10 min bus ride from Fira the capital and 25 mins from Oia. Arkrotiri was a quiet and beautiful unspoilt location worth a visit to see the museum and red beach. Kamari and perisa both also worth a visit for the black beaches nd relaxed vibe.

Messaria is a busy village, situated between the airport & Fira. There are good local bus connections, good restaurants & a fabulous traditional bakery & other supermarkets. There are also some attractive old buildings & domed churches. There is a sea view from some parts of Messaria. It is quite a busy, urban environment.

A quiet area. Locals live here. Very friendly area.
A quiet area. Locals live here. Very friendly area. Local restaurants are very good and prices are low with huge portions. Definitely a change from Oia. A bit of a walk to bus stop and busses/stops are a bit tricky to navigate.

We were delighted with Emmantina and our hosts Tina and Emmanuel. They did everything possible to make our first visit to Santorini and their home absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean wonderful food and the warmest welcome you could have. Located in a quiet village half way between the airport and the port it is perfect. They arranged our transfers and organised a private tour of their beautiful island. They even took us up to their local winery where we could enjoy a glass of their local sparkling wine as we watched the very beautiful sunset. So romantic! Perfect hosts and a delightful bed and breakfast stay.

Mesaria is a very small 'crossroads' town with the main road being very busy with traffic especially large trucks.
There are some lovely local restaurants which serve good food at reasonable prices and two supermarkets. A good bakery sells miniature ice-creams that are very welcome in the heat and there is a small souvenir shop.

The villas are well-designed and the level of comfort is insane. It's within walking distance from many local cafes and bakeries, a market, and the street in front of the apartments leads everywhere from Fira to Imerovigli and Oia in just 15 minutes of driving.
The villas are fully organized with home appliances and everything someone needs during vacation days. For me as a local that travels a lot on the islands, it is a hidden gem of Santorini. Recommended!
Thank for everything
The staff here are amazing. Very knowledgeable about places to eat and local attractions.
Originally my partner and I planned to walk/ bus around Santorini, however we quickly learned this was not a wise idea (lack of footpaths (normally sharing road with cars). On our first night discussed with host and he organised a moped/ bike for our trip, which was delivered and collected from the hotel and the price was better than most other rentals.
Our host Nektaria was super helpful and attentive to all our needs. They gave us information about the interesting points in the island and everything we needed to know to relax and enjoy our holidays in Santorini. The appartment is as shown in the pictures, the kitchen is well equiped. The central location makes it easy to go around the island from there.
Beautiful traditional Greek cave villa in a quiet village - Messaria. Experience of staying in an authentic Greek village and villa. This property is situated in the center of Santorini with the beautiful shopping and dining area, Fira, just a 7 mins drive and the awesome Kamari beach less than 10 mins drive,
Some of the facilities could benefit from refurbishment, but the hotel is great value, for Santorini.
Good location, well connected by bus to various places around the island, and 30-min walk to the airport which is doable (if you don't have a car and want to avoid extortionate Santorini transfers).
