I had a great time in Mykonos.
I had a great time in Mykonos. This island has everything, history, entertainment, luxury, delicious food and really friendly people. I really enjoyed the amazing sunset in little Venice, the iconic windmills, swimming in Kalo Livadi beach which is by far the best beach of the island, windsurfing in Kalafatis beach, shopping downtown in little cute boutiques and trying the local cuisine with Greek specialities and lovely Italian restaurants. I made plenty of new friends and explored Delos and Rhinia islands which was a fascinating experience. I believe that Mykonos has it all, culture, nightlife, beach fun, food, love. Beautiful and scenic island, but be aware that everything is overpriced. The land of the rich and famous. Luckily we went during shoulder season, and we couldn't imagine how crowded and crazy loud would be during high season/Summer, so it was on the quiet side but a lot of restaurants were closed. The restaurants that were open specially near Little Venice and harbor areas were very overpriced. So be prepare to pay also top euros to rent a chair/umbrella at the beaches. But overall is definitely worth visiting at least once in a life time for its beauty and feeling when walking in the huge maze of tiny narrow alleys, and seeing the windmills at night time, it is a really beautiful experience.Guest review byAnaUnited States - 8.0

It's smaller than I imagined, but very quaint. Some really nice bars along the seafront and narrow winding streets full of artists studios and souvenir shops. Pick a nice bar on an evening to watch the sun going down, but always check the menu's or ask how much your favourite drinks might cost before sitting down! We sat at one bar and ordered 2 white wines (one each) - the wine was lovely, 'so we had another each - plus a small bottle of soda water to stretch the drink out a little. Pretty not as expensive as I was expecting but a still over my budget and not really worth it. Makes London look like the deal of the century. Proprietors are naughty with their prices they charge the depending when the cruise ships come in and you get charged more if you say you're from London, my partner is part Peruvian so we got better rates when he spoke Castilian which made me feel uneasy with people being two faced to me. However busses though few were great.
