Neos Marmaras is small town in the hills so you have to be carefull when you choose location of your accomodation because some streets are very steep. On the way from Neos Marmaras to Nikiti you have several nice beaches, everything is very close to eachother. I was pleasantly surprised that the beaches we visited were not crowded at all, including those very close to Neos Marmaras itself. However, the most exciting and memorable part of our stay was a one-day boat rental. We drove to Vourvourou (ca. 30 km from Neos Marmaras) to start the boat trip. Well appointed and well serviced, clean accommodation. The beach is an easy walk away. You can drive to it and park with ease, although parking back in the town - or close to the apartments - can be a challenge of a weekend. Three small romantic ports in the town. Everything clean. Neighborhood but not too close to a giant hotel and resort facility. Food everywhere, prices low, traditional, european, streetfood etc. Small town, everything is reachable by foot. Many small super markets in town, bigger ones at the town limits. It’s pet-friendly, and dogs are welcome throughout the property. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the housekeeping team was wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and just a short distance from the central area, where you’ll find restaurants, grocery stores, and more. We also liked the meals schedule. We had access to good internet connection. In the evening we could use the sports playgrounds and borrow balls. Apartment comes with everything you need. Modern and very clean. Big AC to cool all the apartment. Super friendly host, Maria, and her mother even cooked one day for us.
