We were staying at the end of the resort so it was really quiet, the room overall was fine except the bed, i could feel every move that my mom made and also the pillow was really hard so my neck was hurting, in the breakfast there was a good amount of food and it nice that u can also sit outside next to the pool, the water in the pool was always clean as well as the sun-beds, it takes around 5 minutes to the sea but there is like a big rock in the entrance to the sea and its slippery so i recommend going maybe like 10 minutes and its sandy beach, on the reception the ladies were really nice and helped us get a transport to the airport, but all of the staff were super nice and smiling, i love that there were 2 cat families, one around the rooms and one next to the pool, it was nice seeing them playing and it always made my day😃

It was just our speed. We had a great room with an amazing view. It is an easy walk to the beach, bus station, and lots of restaurants. The hotel also arranged for our airport and ferry transfers which simplify our travel immensely.

    Perissa as a very accessible resort, with plenty of options...

    Perissa as a very accessible resort, with plenty of options for restaurants and bars along the seafront, and many of those offer complimentary sunbeds for patrons. I chose this resort because I am recovering from a broken ankle, and the option to walk along a flat road, slightly further each day as part of my recovery was perfect. The black sand isn't perfect, but its soft to walk on, and makes a lovely backdrop to the sparkling blue sea. Walking along the shore is a bit of a challenge because of the way the beach slopes into the waves, and very little of the sand is compacted, which usually makes walking in the surf easier. Access into the sea is also challenging because of the rocky within a few feet of the shore. Santorini is notorious for its wind, and we arrived when it was gusting up to 35mph, which required holding things down on the beach and by the pool. The restaurants along the seafront near where we stayed were all excellent, and I would certainly recommend a pre-dinner drink in Tranquilo, with its fabulous cocktails and amazing vibe.

    Good selection of shops, eateries, bars and great bakeries. Good bus service to Fira. We all hear about the sunset on the other side of the island. But nobody speaks of the sunrise on this side. We were down on the beach to see it on 3 occasions. Fantastic. Red, orange, yellow. Then the golden sun appears. I am 74 and have travelled wide. This experience was exceptional.

    We really loved Perissa.

    We really loved Perissa. It was beautiful and avoided the crowds associated with Fira and Oia. There were lots of restaurants from which to choose, and all the ones we ate at were delicious. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the beach road each day. The treats from the 24-hour bakery were awesome. We easily rented a car in Perissa to do spend a day doing some sightseeing. We also did a tour that went to other towns, so we didn't limit ourselves to Perissa. We didn't get to see everything, though, and would have loved to stay longer. We really liked that Perissa was laid-back and casual.

    This resort is ideal if you want a beach type holiday plenty of bars and restaurants with a lovely beach. You can also walk up to Ancient Thirisia if you feel energetic but I advise set of early before the sun gets to warm

    In my opinion, this is one of the best cities to relax and enjoy yourself comfortably. The beach is lined with various establishments, and in front of them are sun loungers (they cost 20 euros for the day, but you can stay for free if it’s just for a short time). There are also plenty of shops selling groceries and souvenirs. The water is great, and the beach surface is nice for walking barefoot, though it can be a bit slippery at first.

    Perissa really is very nice village.

    Perissa really is very nice village. It is not like in OIA or FIRA (aglomeration and spectacular view of the VULCAN), but they have a big beach and also a lot of terasses and restaurants. Hotels and supermarkets. And the people in Perissa are very nice. Don't miss PERISSA. You will be surprised.

    Room was exceptionally clean and staff was very helpful and treated us like family! They allowed us to check in quite late at night and check out very early in the morning. Really lovely people and it's definitely worth the stay :) Breakfast was also very tasty and there was variety every day. The hotel is close to one of the biggest beaches of Santorini (Perissa and Perivolos - about 5-10 minutes on foot). Bus station is 5 minutes on foot and it's about 30 minutes to Fira.

    Everything was perfect for us, breakfast amazing, loved the Santorini eggs, salad, Greek yoghurt, fresh bread and fruit, plenty of choice. Bedding and towels changed every day, and room and hotel spotlessly clean. Staff really friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for us, Maria. You were great and didn't take the other lovely ladies' names,but thank you 😊 oh and Thomas, the cat. The shower was amazing not what we're used to in Greece.
