FAQs about hotels in Hong Kong

Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.

Loved Hong Kong, we walked everywhere and had great food in local restaurants in Wanchai, Soho and Causeway Bay. Awesome boba tea places like Silk and nanyang coffee (Toast Box in Tsim Sha Tsui). Our day in Disneyland was hot but very productive. Taking the Peak Tram to the Victoria Peak was another highlight of our trip. The locals are helpful and friendly. The Hong Kong is very efficient too. Overall a great and smooth trip.

I grew up in Hong Kong and I go back to Hong Kong usually once or twice a year. Hong Kong .is still a very lovely place. Transport by taxi is convenient and cheap. Locals are kind and helpful. Food is accessible, good n cheap compared to Singapore where I am living now. The sight seeing places are nearby and are well kept.

HK is a place best experienced rather than described.

HK is a place best experienced rather than described. It is very busy and fast paced so those who don't like this won't be comfortable there. Of course the shops are very good and there are many many restaurants with all sorts of different food. The MTR (underground) is clean, efficient and fast. It transports many thousands of people each day and it never fails to impress. A great way to get around.

I like the yummy foods including dim sum,mi xian, roasted goose,Egglets, egg tarts ,polo bun etc. Transportation is excellent. You can check the timing for buses and trains easily from apps. There are a few MUST GO museums to visit such as heritage museum for adult and science museum for kids. You may skip M+ if you are not keen about modern Art. The Peak,Ocean park,Lantau Island & TAI O fishing town and Disneyland are the recommended places to visit and have fun. The only drawback is beware of the "water" dripping down on your head when you walk along the streets.

If I were to plan another city getaway, I’d likely choose Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. While there were a few highlights, overall the experience fell short. The hawker markets were average at best, with limited variety and nothing particularly memorable. Ladies Market was decent for a quick stroll, but Temple Street Night Market was a letdown, crowded, repetitive, and lacking atmosphere.

Great location in Central, Hong Kong. The free shuttle bus to Central and the Airport Express was very convenient, it's also located near the mid-levels escalator which made getting around to nearby attractions very easy. The hotel is slightly older compared to modern hotels but it was extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were professional and helpful. It was easy to walk to famous food places nearby for meals. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to HK.

I stayed at this hotel 20 years ago, and I must say it has been renovated tastefully. It looks elegant and graceful. My room had a stunning view of the glamorous Hong Kong harbor. Both my room and the common areas were top-notch. The hotel is centrally located, right next to the HK Performance Center and surrounded by numerous excellent restaurants. It is within walking distance of the Airport Express. I would definitely rate this hotel a10 out of 10 in Hong Kong.

For those that know, Tai Hang is an exceptionally cool spot on Hong Kong Island, full of eateries and coffee shops. It is close to the hustle and bustle of Causeway Bay, but also a little oasis, being quieter and lower-rise. This hotel has exceptional views, beautifully appointed rooms and a well-equipped gym, all located in the heart of Tai Hang. I loved it, will return.

Hotel in a very good position for visiting Hong Kong and Kowloon, very close to Mtr and in a district with lots of pubs and restaurants aimed at Westerners. Room size bigger than HK average, comfortable and clean. The room was facing the street, but noise insulation was very good and barely heard music and loud speaking from outside.

Very nice, modern hotel and in a very good location and everything , including the Wan Chai metro station. The Exhibition Centre, is accessible by foot thanks to the pedestrian bridge less than 15 min walk. The rooms were big by Hong Kong standards. Surely my first choice when coming back to Hong Kong
