Many Hungarians around Balaton are quite hostile to tourists...
Many Hungarians around Balaton are quite hostile to tourists speaking english or other foreign languages. I dont understand it, because I saw there, that they are in a deep economical sh*t and would desperately need the money from tourists to renew the whole equipment around Balaton lake. Unfortunately it is still the same as I remember it from the 1980s. Really weird way how to earn the money! At least 1 positive thing: Hungarian food and dry white wine is still excellent!!!Guest review byLeeKramekSlovakia

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the family room was a lot larger than expected and had a phantastic view of the lake. We watched the sunset in Balatonboglár like 50 years ago when we were there as children with our parents. Breakfast options were great as well. There is a shop, excellent restaurants and the beach nearby. The accommodation has nice and sufficient equipment. Balatonboglár is an amazing destination. Communication with the owner was very good. The flat is beautiful, modern with an amazing view of Lake Balaton. The best location imaginable. Close to the centre of Balatonlelle and Balatonboglar (about 15 min by foot).
