Szolnok was a great and positive surprise to me.

Museums are close on Mondays.
Museums are close on Mondays. The Churches are under renovation. Try the Pistachio Ice Cream in the small ice cream shop (Caffe Verganano) near the main street going to the Tiszabridge, it's delicious. Streets are very clean and not so much people around. The place is quiet, calm and tranquil. Take time to check out the fountain with healing water outside Hotel Tisza and Thermalbath.Guest review byReginaHungary

The best was when we approached the hotel with a request for an upgrade because we were celebrating a wedding anniversary: the hotel upgraded the room and even bought us delicious sushi dishes at the house's expense.
