We were more than satisfied. Perfect location, a very kind lady at the reception, newly renovated rooms, and the option to have breakfast in the beautiful House of History. Convenient parking for a symbolic daily fee (easy payment via app). Everything was literally within arm's reach. We will definitely not be visiting for the last time.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre.

We chose this accommodation as a stopover on a cycling trip around Balaton. Unfortunately we spent here only one night. This accommodation was the best we had on our trip. We were welcomed by kind and helpful staff, whose only goal was our complete satisfaction and comfort. We stayed in a room with a patio, which was spacious and beautifully decorated in an old style. Guests have access to a generously sized swimming pool. We were pleasantly surprised by the rich and tasty breakfast. We are very happy that we chose this accommodation, but sad that we could not spend here more days, maybe next time. I highly recommend everyone to visit this place. I am sure you will not regret it.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and they arranged for me to be able to hire ab electric bike which was a brilliant experience - highly recommend. The hotel is just over the road from a lovely swimming spot on Balaton

Our stay at Tihany Bungalows was truly magical. Cozy cabins surrounded by nature, with breathtaking views of Lake Balaton — it felt like a dream. The spa with panoramic windows was an absolute highlight: soaking in warm water while gazing out at the lake and sky was pure serenity. Every morning we were greeted by swallows, and during the day we spotted little lizards darting over the stones — a beautiful glimpse of wildlife in a peaceful setting. Everything here invites you to slow down, recharge, and simply enjoy the moment. We will definitely come back — it’s one of those rare places that stays with you.
