Very well set up resort, large comfortable rooms and beds. Beautiful food from restaurant. Lovely included breakfast ordered from menu, (although you will be charged for that second refill of coffee or second piece of bread etc) Great staff, always willing to assist with anything Reception can organise day trips, laundry, transport. Very efficient

Loved staying at Mushroom Beach Bungalows! The location is perfect—just steps from the beach with beautiful views and easy access to cafes and boat transfers. The bungalows are clean, comfortable, and full of charm. The pool area is a great spot to relax, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Quite lovely place . Room was great looking out to pool .staff couldn't do enough for us.had a great couple of nights . Did book sea view room unfortunately had to go up 5 flights of stairs, so had to change room. Please advise people booking sea view off this.

Beautiful location in Tamarind Bay, right on the water. Amazing that there is only 4 huts so very private. Pool was amazing right on the water and we never swam with anyone else. Room was pretty basic Bali hut, no frills. They did make our room up multiple times a day and laid mosquito net over bed at dusk which was a lovely touch. Staff were amazing in organising anything you need - scooters, laundry, tours etc. for very reasonable price. We were organised a tour to do snorkelling with Manta Rays which was just us 2 (beat the touristy crowds) and a local man on his boat - AMAZING!!

Adi and her husband were amazing and looking after us before we even got there and during our stay. They organised a ferry and collection from Sanur, had motorbikes ready and they couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you both. The place is small but the rooms are comfortable, albeit a bit dark on the inside and rustic. The cleanliness was top notch and the beds and pillows are super comfortable and Adi makes a mean bed! Aircon was great and mini bar was as cheap as the local store. Bathroom had everything you needed and was outside but super clean, with everything provided. The garden and pool is beautiful, just a really simple small space to relax. Breakfast is simple and made by Adi and was good. The location is excellent. 3 min walk to excellent sandy Dream Beach and 5 min to Sandy Bay Beach Club. 20 mins to Sunset Beach. Shops and Warungs with walking distance too.

    I feel like the island is untouched for now but that won't last. our villa had unparalleled views out to the ocean, but sections either side had already been marked out. the roads aren't great, but the people are so friendly and there is as much or as little as you want to do. great food, friendly people. so many great spas!

    We only walked around locally.

    We only walked around locally. The area is still suffering after COVID. It is an island so there is a lot of rubbish around but they are trying hard. The new resort that looks on hold in secret bay is an architectural disgrace. Too modern in design and to destructive of the natural scene.

    Lembongan is the perfect island destination.

    Lembongan is the perfect island destination. Plenty of warungs offering affordable, yummy food right on the beach. We also loved la blanca, and ohana's for some western food. Surya coffee shop is a great pit stop every morning for a bit of caffeine. There are several surf spots on the island, with water taxis to take you out to the breaks. Snorkelling is awesome with lots of fish and coral, our favourite spots are the wall and crystal bay. Ceningan island is connected by bridge and it is very fun to grab a moped and ride around, taking in the beautiful views.

    Fantastic place to visit especially if you have a couple of...

    Fantastic place to visit especially if you have a couple of days. Hire a scooter or jump in the back of one of the many small open back trucks to take you around. Exploring was the most fun with restaurant's, coffee shops and plenty of small shops to visit. Head over the yellow bridge to Cennigan and the beaches are next level, a surfers dream!!! great views early mornings drinking a coffee watching the waves roll out. A true tropical island getaway.

    The tourist shop in the lane next to the resort (Zoro) is excellent. We booked a day tour of the island which was great. Did the Mangroves, Dream Beach, Panorama point. The next day booked through him Made & Ketut for a private snorkel of Crystal Bay, Manta Bay (no mantas there), Mangroves. Beautiful coral and clean water. Next day went to Manta Point: trust Made implicitly as a captain: tricky rough currents which he expertly negotiated. Ketut did a great job as our snorkel guide, and sent GoPro shots to us: 5 Mantas! Dinner at Curry Traders was up there with the best in Sydney: need to book in advance.

    Jungabuta wasn,t for us, but heard others rave about it, to us it was a bit like Kuta. Mushroom beach was just beautiful, particurally for taking it easy, best meals were had at the Bamboo restaurant Bali Hai on the beach, however prices are up. Best bar Mola Mola opposite end of beach. Happy hours are for cocktails only, seems all places are the same, cocktails in smaller bars are not what you would expect say in Australia. Road around island very rough and narrow.

    We spent 3 nights at Castaway in one of the 2 bedroom villas. The resort is small, personal and peaceful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The whole place really gives "island vibes". The breakfast served to your balcony was good and the staff always very friendly. The pool is a great place to chill out, as is the hammock on the balcony. Right in the centre of mushroom bay but not loud at all. Would definitely recommend it to anyone staying on Lembongan.

    The hotel manager and staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. They made us feel so comfortable after a tiring morning trip to Lembongan, and were always helpful with any requests such as hiring bikes. The view from the villas were amazing as you could see the beach and also the mountains in Bali. The aircon was working well and we felt very safe there. We are very appreciative of how helpful and friendly the hotel manager was during our stay here.
